








This week kicking off round 2, sees our first Home games planned for the Red and Black this season to be played at Kings Park Kings Park will be the Club's adopted home, as our home grounds at the Valley go under much needed renovation for the whole season.
Our mens Premiership and the Knights (Premiership A team) take on Hong Kong Scottish on Friday night. And our Premiership Womens will play against Gai Wu on Saturday with all games taking part in King Park.
Our community leagues kick off this weekend with the Valley Griffins taking on Police RFC at Police Boundary Street and the Valley Reds taking on SCAA Causeway Bay at Tai Hang Tung.
The Womens team started their season strong, with a convincing win over an ever improving SCAA Causeway Bay team With some new faces and debut tries it was good to see some new additions to the team, Tyler Botha and Katrina Roszynski making an immediate impact and helping the team come away with a . With some referee decisions going the wrong way for the team this week, they have some work on ' s to take away from the game, however would be pleased with their 22 0 victory over their rivals.
The Men's team finished a high scoring game on the wrong side of coin, as they lost to Sandy Bay in the opening round of the Nan Fung Group Sewit Premiership. With a shaky start in the beginning, they let in 3 easy tries in a 20 minute spell during the first half, bouncing back in the second however time had ran out, losing the game 47 29. The impact of the bench was positive, with Barend Potgeiter and Luke Van Der Smit making an immediate statement on the pitch with the driving mauls.

The Valley Reds team is one of two Womens teams at the Club Taking part in the Championship Division this year, the team is lead from the front by Captain Au Shu Wan
The team is coached by KK Wong and Chi Au Wai KK is a legendary Valley player and brings with her a wealth of coaching experience and knowledge. Au Wai is a well known touch rugby coach, and continues working with our Reds from last season to this season.
The Reds this season will feature many new faces, as it aims to develop more players from our community into the performance game.
This season, the Club has entered a total of 6 Senior teams into the HKRU Leagues. Alongside the Mens and Womens Premiership teams, we have one additional Womens team, the Valley Reds and two Mens teams, Valley Mavericks and the Valley Griffins
Valley Reds play in the Womens Championship League, the Valley Mavericks play in the Mens Championship ranking round and the Valley Griffins play in Community League 3.
