Coach Mark Fatialofa and his troops played the best game of the season last week as they handed rivals Hong Kong Football Club their first defeat of the season. In a dominating display of rugby the forwards were clinical with their set pieces and packed their lethal line out drive going into the game with Rob Lennox and Faizal Solomona proving to be a headache for the opposition. The backs made phase play difficult for HKFC with their rapid ine speed on defence - resulting in a great 50 meter individual try from Hugo Stiles. Fly Half Laurence May was a sharp shooter with the boot as he maximised every opportunity to stretch the lead on the scoreboard with his kicks at goal.

In a tit-for-tat game where the scoreboard bounced either sides, captain Bella Milo and her band of sisters defeated HKFC Ice in gritty game that came down to the wire The team had the perfect start with two early tries coming in from slick hands from the backline, with HKFC bounding back with a couple of their own. A turning point in the game was when Milo broke the line with a spectacular hand off, and after a quick recycle of the ball and smart decision making between Olivia Coady and Lewis Wong, the ball was swiftly passed out wide and a perfectly executed draw and pass from Chloe Chan allowed Zoe Smith to dot down in the corner for her second try of the game
