finals upon us

5 big games ahead for the Club as we enter the finals weekend for the season

2 of our teams have fought through the ranks and qualified for the community leagues Championship Grand Finals

Mavericks were awarded a win against University last weekend and will be taking on HKFC Scorpions while the Reds had a great defeat over league winners USRC Tigers to place them in the final positionings.

Valley Mens will be taking on Sandy Bay and Valley Womens will be play USRC Tigerswith games as part of the Nan Fung Sewit Group Premiership Grand Championship Semi Finals. Both games will be hotly contested with all teams coming in with a wins and a loss against each other this season.

Knights complete the weekend with a semi final of their own against a strong standing Hong Kong Scottish side.

Went for the summer course, continued into preseason, and suddenly I was here to stay.

Championship Grand Finalists v HKFC Scorpions

The Valley Mavericks led by coaches Paul Deayton and Aaron Stockdale take on Hong Kong Football Club in the Mens Community Leagues Championship Grand Finals. Captained by Ben Campbell the team this year have built nicely with addition of younger new players to the Club and a mix of older long time Valley legends

With a selection of losses and wins in what proved to be a hotly contested league, the Mavericks find themselves at the last hurdle of the season as they take on Hong Kong Football Club Scorpions in the Grand Finals

In a topsy turvy season, the Reds have overcome their challenges and find themselves contesting for an opportunity to lift the Women’s Championship Grand Championship Cup

Having played 8 teams in an initial ranking round, the team placed in the top 5 and were entered in the Championship A division. After defeating league winners USRC Tigers last weekend, the team will now come up against Gai Wu Fawkes for the final say this season.

A fairy tale finish will be what the team are after in what has been a positive season for all.
