This weekend sees a lone Saturday of just womens Premiership games as the Men's Premiership games were played earlier in the week due to the RWC Qualifiers held in Dubai and inclusion of our National team into the competition.
The Womens will take on Hong Kong Football Club at their home grounds this Saturday. Focus on the squad is in the rebuilding phase as they look to develop more younger girls and bring in players from their seconds team into Premiership Rugby.
With a few familiar faces missing, the coaches and players have a challenge to blend the new look team together and put on a positive performance.
Coming off the blocks slow in the beginning of the match proved deadly for Valley as Tigers ran in some strong early tries in what was a consistent display of quality rugby from the opposition
Valley were not able to get into the groove of things, despite crawling back with a couple of tries for themselves
With varying positional combinations, the team have yet to find the gel that would provide them with that much needed smooth consistency with set piece plays and team patterns.
There is positives to take away, with certain players such as Tsz Yan Lam, Duc and Wu Rumeng, Aislin really beginning to cement themselves and earn their jersey number in the starting XV.

The Valley Mavericks are the Club's 3rds Mens XV's team Coached by long term Valley legends Paul Deayton and Aaron Stockdale, the team are a mix of those new to the game and those that once graced the pitch in the performance end.
Playing in the HKRU Championship ranking round during the first half of the season, the team are determined to make their mark on the league with some serious contenders pushing into the Knights squad.
Not only does the Club Chairman run out for them, however their next best kept secret is that they have a international player within their squad I wonder who??
