Arts Montco Week & Jazz Fest

For the second year in a row, the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) brought back Arts Montco Week in September, adding a jazz festival to the 2022 lineup.

The Jazz Fest schedule includes Centre Theater in Norristown, the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Ardmore Music Hall, the Community Music School in Trappe, and Rivet Canteen & Assembly in Pottstown.

The event will also feature jazz artists performing at restaurants and Montco Makers all across the county for jazz brunches at places like the King of Prussia Mall. The VFTCB partnered with the Montgomery County Community College on a kickoff reception.

The week also puts the spotlight on Montco’s live music venues, award-winning playhouses, historic movie theaters, amazing architecture, museums and art galleries, and some of the finest gardens and arboretums, and highlights the people and organizations that make these incredible venues inspire thousands of visitors a year.

The VFTCB held its first ever Arts Week in September 2021 to highlight Montgomery County, PA’s more than 200 arts and culture venues, which normally represent $100 million in economic impact, plus thousands of jobs.

The county has hosted such prestigious international entertainment organizations like Cirque du Soleil, Big Apple Circus, and the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Once again, it’s free for venues to participate with no programming requirements and features a website, blog, video, public relations, and social campaign.

Guests are able to experience all Arts Montco Week offers and events on the free Visit Valley Forge app.
