All hairdryers with brushless digital motors have been equipped with an intelligent diagnostics system to continuously control the optimal functioning of the tool. Intelligent airflow diagnostics system
Performance under control Valera develops its hairdryers for intense use in a professional ambience. The aim is to fully satisfy hairstylists in their daily work in terms of best functioning of their working tools. Improper use, like partial closure of the air inlet grill or practising styling techniques too close to the hair, as well as dirt and clogging inside the dryer, can compromise the smooth flow of air from the inlet to the outlet and affect the hairdryer’s performance and durability.
Valera has developed the eQ-AIRcontroller, a smart solution to keep the proper air flow and operation of the dryer under control. Intelligent microprocessors have been designed to continuously check multiple parameters of the airstream production of the hairdryer. As soon as the eQ-AIRcontroller detects any value below a defined threshold, it indicates that there is an impediment to a clear air flow or a malfunction of the dryer.
A led light always in sight On top of the hairdryers body, easily to check for the user, a small led light communicates if everything works smoothly.
Flashing in blue: The light indicates the optimal functioning of the hairdryer, flashing in blue every 10 seconds during
each checking process of eQ-AIRcontroller. Flashing in red: If the light flashes red, a temporary hindrance (i.e. the hairdryer is blowing air too close to the hair strand) is causing a reduced performance. Valera’s technology: the power to rely on.
Be sure of proper functioning Full power with long durability Clear signal for easy control. Blue light: airflow OK. Red light: Alert!
Fixed red light: In case of a fixed red light: 1) turn off the hairdryer, 2) clean the air inlet grill, 3) clean the air outlet grill and keep it at a minimal distance of 2 cm from the hair or any obstacle. If the light still stays fixed red, please contact the nearest Valera Service Center.

The latest generation of brushless digital motors: small, lightweight, though extremely powerful and lifelong durable. The EVOLUTION brushless digital BLDC motor is the heart of Valera’s professional hairdryer concept for a sustainable future: digital technology at its best.
BLDC motors, with four powerful magnets, guarantee a service life of up to 10,000 hours (5 times longer than AC motors) and the prevention of environmental pollution through carbon dust emission. At the same time, they are even lightweight.
AC (Alternated Current) motors are collector motors built to satisfy the special needs of hairdressers. They produce a high air flow and pressure and have a very long life. The expected average life of this motor is approx. 2000 hours.
Designed for excellent performance. Delta - Δ - stands for significantly more power which DELTA-DRIVE motors achieve in comparison with traditional permanent magnet motors.
