Kitchen B 2014-2015
The project was developed starting from a situation in which furnishings were already present. For this reason the choice of the palette was strongly limited as it included existing colors. The furnishings already present in the kitchen have been included in the project thanks to a design that comes close but remains separate to the furniture already present in the room.
The style of the kitchen gives a nod to the Nordic interiors, with a prevalence of white and natural wood and where the greenery has its own space. Moreover, since the budget was limited, we opted for economic materials, but of great effect, such as OSB wood. The new surfaces and furniture highlight the original materials of the apartment.

Tv wall with recycled wood 2015
The project is part of a renovation of a living room with virtually no budget. The concept was mainly to create a palette of colors that would amalgamate the different styles of furniture. In a second time, build a series of functional and limitedcost furniture. For the TV panel it was used an oxidized wood which
then dictated the basis on which to make the palette. The panel is suspended thanks to four well-hidden screws that are attached to a black panel behind which the TV cables are hidden. Everything is made more interesting by the use of LED lights that create a more relaxing atmosphere.

Apartment CZ 2018 The design was developed from a palette that revolved around black and gray, as a neutral base, and teal as an accent color. we tried to give a style between the city and the casual one of the
periphery, as the apartment is located in the suburban area of a small city. The piano and the sofa are central elements in this living room, for this reason the furniture is very light.

Bedroom S 2019
The start for this project was a real challenge, only eight square meters to fit all the things a student needs: bed wardrobe, storage space, a desk and a library. In order to save space, it has been created a storage area behind the bed, closed down by three doors, easy to open from the top. The wardrobe is over it with a curtain instead of a door, to save more space.
The foalding desk is mounted on the library and it can be opened when needed. Once it is closed, the support serves as a shelf to display objects and pictures. The material used for all the furniture is OSB wood, economic and durable material, which doesn’t need painting as its natural wood rasin prevents it from being damaged.

Renovation of NLB bank branch Mentor: Alessio Princic 2017 The concept for renovating the branch on TavÄ?arjeva ulica is a modern concept of banking business with customers. Open business, extension of programs and the services that the bank offers re in the same sharing space. It is not just about sharing money, but it becomes a space for acquiring knowledge, ideas, socializing, reading and others support programs
such as exhibitions, lectures, workshops and cafes. The client would have a 360 degrees axperience, spending time in the bank not only for business reasons but also for relax and entertainment. This new concept is already used in modern banks, where the clients can sit and drink a coffee while their bank manager explains them the new features of their bank account.

Apartment buildings for young people and families Mentor: Jurij Kobe 2015-2016 The main task and challenge of this project was to make a commercial area (BTC commercial center in Ljubljana) livable with mixed use, adding residential buildings. To achieve this goal the four towers of apartments are detached from the exhisting buildings, with a game of sliding volumes. The concept of this project is “stratification”, eco of Aldo Rossi and Franco Purini’s work. From latin “strata”, this word indicates the overlay of different layers one on another.
Every european city is made of layers: some of them are now deleted and not visible, but they left a trace in the urban fabric. The project includes 150 apartments, a small school, a gym, an assembly room, bars and restaurants, four public green terraces and one underground parking. The new building does not touch the old one and the structural pillars occupy only a small part of it. A significant attention was given to the floorplan, using as less space as possible.

Apartment building in ErjavÄ?eva cesta in collaboration with arch. Paulo Barbaresi 2019 The main idea for this project was dictated by the fact that the school next to the building would have been seriously deprived of sunlight: for this reason the building has a central hole, on which the apartments also overlook.
As a second concept the bow was used, which defines the ground floor of public use and refers to the Roman tradition of Emona. The car park was hidden under an artificial hill that serves as a public park.

Farewell Hall and Chapels of rest Mentor: TomaĹž KruĹĄec 2016 The concept of the building is born from the idea of light connected to the way religion perceive the trascendental: light as something always connected to God and the afterlife. We can see it particularly in Gothic architecture but also classical examples from the Roman Empire. The light coming from he top creates the effect of a modern Pantheon while the floorplan is enriched by symbols.
Another important thing in a religious building is he path: the entrance has a foundamental role in the perception of the building. This is why is so important. In this project the entrance is a volume of a completely different material, the Corten, which also has a meaning, as it is something dead nd alive at the same time. The connection between the Cemetery and the Chapel is undelined by this repetition of the same volume, but in a different scale.

Extension of elementary school in Buja in collaboration with arch. Emanuela Cartelli 2015
The Municipality of Buja has launched a competition of ideas aimed at the redevelopment of the elementary school building “Pieri Menis”. Designed by the architect Giancarlo De Carlo in the years 1980/81, the building was then achieved thanks to a substantial donation from the United States government following the Seismic events of 1976.
“A space never becomes a place until the presence and the use of the human beings live it, change it, consume it, transform it, give it an identity that makes it different from all the other spaces
and places“. Giancarlo De Carlo
The inspection made it possible to detect a series of characteristics that led to the conception of the redevelopment project.
The requirements of the competition mainly asked to consider the use of existing volumes, the expansion of the structures in order to incorporate the two schools into a single Scholastic Center, the definition of pedestrian spaces and vehicular and cycle way system, use of adjacent sports facilities, future maintenance through simple and inexpensive interventions and general sustainability of the intervention.

Project on Noncello river project by arch. Alessio Princic collaborator: arch. Paulo Barbaresi 2019 The project, financed and conceived by the municipality of Pordenone, contemplates a fluvial connection between 4 different areas: city center, fair, squero and former drainage pump. In addition to a boat destined for a water bus, floating house modules and shop modules were designed. As the architectural project,
a landscape architecture project was made, too, which includes cycle paths and footpaths as a link to the four areas. Furthermore, the local fauna has been taken into great consideration, as it is made of migratory birds, many of which have the Noncello river as the only habitat in the Pordenone area.

Masterplan: a “door” for Brda Mentor: Alessio Princic 2016-17 SLOVENIA as a member of the EU it moves towards a circular economy. Ljubljana has a total of more than 70% of green investments. Strategy 2050: green, healthy, active and digital. BRDA, with 45 diffused villages form a prominent character with mountain and hills, with the connection to Italy, the view to the sea and the typical products like fruits and wine. VIPOLŽE is a village that defines the border with Italy with the Preval area. It has a strong spirit for sport competitions and a rich history characterized by Villa Vipolže.
It is a symbolically perfect location to create a square in between the two countries but that would also give the idea of a unity with the Collio region. The project is developed thanks to a dialogue with the municipality of Brda and the population of the area. Its aim is not only to develope tourism but to create a real platform to exchange goods and culture between Italy and Slovenia. It also attempts to unify the area with the concept of a square, the real heart of this region, which is geographically divided but historically united.

2013
In the general context of the interventions of reviewing the spaces to rationalize the teaching and research activity, objective of the University Strategic Plan, there are some projects functional to the redevelopment of the Rizzi scientific center with consequent valorization of the assets, spaces and services. The pole is peculiar to its vocation as a “campus, a vocation that requires an identity project that makes it recognizable on the urban, context and building scale. Accessibility, comfort, orientation, information and security are the accessories on which it is necessary to intervene by recognizing new functions to common connecting spaces, internal paths and external spaces, terraces and courtyards, strengthening connections with other neighboring complexes and with the city. The competition was made to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the master degree course in Architectural Sciences at the University of Udine and choose the best redevelopment project of the scientific pole of the Friulian university at Rizzi. The competition had as first
aim the collaboration of the master degree course in Architecture of the University of Udine and the Art & Architecture Association. The students who partecipated therefore had to link to an architectural office. The ompetition resulted in a publication and an exhibition in one of the most important museums of the city of Udine. The main idea of this project was born from the chaotic layout of the area. All the buildings look aliens to the surroundings and all the interventions done on this location are not disconnected and not part of a bigger planning. Starting from this considerations, the project aims to connect all the different functions, from the university to the library and the cantine, with a series of paths that are at the same time playful and useful. It also introduces new needed buildings, using all the empty space that is largely unused.

Design of displays for museums Mentors: Bernardino Pittino, Nicla Indrigo 2010-11 The project is inspired by Mondrian’s paintings, which become a concept. The colors and modularity of these compositions are the basis of the design. The panels are mounted on a structure made of tubes that is flexible and adaptable to any space. The internal panels are interchangeable with various colors and materials. moreover, glass cases
equipped with can be used.

Thanks to its versatility it is easily adaptable to every situation and different objects. There are panels to mount pictures and stands for big statues too. In case of necessity the structure can be anchored to the wall, otherwise it can stand by itself.

Competition
Design competition Formabilio house 2015 The main idea for this project was to have the versatility of a modular system in a piece of furniture that doesn’t have this versatility. The design comes from the intersection of the simplest geometrical element: the circle. Thanks to the intersection of the two circles, two
half-moon shapes and an almond shape are obtained. These become the three elements that can be joined to form a coffee table or separated to form seats. the height of the elements based on ergonomics ensures that the elements can act as a seat or as a coffee table.
Competition
Design competition Oppositology 2015 Dilly-dally, or “to lose time”, “to procrastinate”. And what is more of a symbol of dilly-dally-ing than a sofa? Dilly-dally is a double face sofa: like a furniture version of dr. Jeckill and mr. Hide, half is an interior sofa and
half is a harmchair for the garden. The wireframe design recalls the one of the meshes of a 3d model. The dimensions are chosen to have a more comfortable sit and a lounge feeling.
