Start-of-Term Dual Enrollment Schedule for Fall Term 2012 for Courses on the High School Campus Date

Tuesday August 9 Tuesday-Friday August 16-19

Deadline: All Valencia Dual Enrollment (DE) applications and test scores for Fall Term must be received in DE Office by 5:00 PM; no applications for Fall Term will be accepted after that date

Eligible Student Report will be sent to high school reflecting all students eligible to be in dual enrollment as well as their test scores; Valencia/DE new faculty visit school to meet counselor, review school policies (call school DE counselor liaison to schedule)

First day of classes at the high school

Monday-Thursday August 22-25

Counselors communicate with faculty regarding who is or is not attending classes so that counselors have opportunity to make adjustments to preliminary rosters before submitting final rosters at end of the week

Friday August 26

Deadline: Final rosters submitted by counselors to DE Office on or before date, by 5:00 PM, reflecting only students who appeared on the Eligible Student Report and were officially admitted to Valencia; any course prerequisites must also have been met no exceptions

Monday-Friday August 29September 2

Registrations completed by Valencia’s DE Office

Tuesday September 6

Faculty print official rosters from Atlas; official rosters sent to high school counselors by DE Office; only students on these lists are eligible to be in classes and receive credit; (NOTE: if student stops attending or withdraws at any point in term, faculty should notify high school counselor who will then notify DE Office (faculty may also send e-mail to DE Office); faculty record last date of attendance for later entry into Atlas; withdrawal deadlines are listed at for parts of terms as are due dates for grades to Valencia
