curriculum that is combined with clinical experiences in local healthcare facilities. It is designed for individuals who currently hold a Florida State License in Practical Nursing, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapy, or Cardiovascular Technology. This previous education is counted toward an Associate of Science degree in Nursing, saving students both time and money. For these individuals, a nursing degree can provide an opportunity to go into a wider range of careers, or to pursue higher levels of education.
Notes: This option is designed for LPN’s (Licensed Practical Nurses), Paramedics, RRT’s (Registered Respiratory Therapists), and CVT’s (Registered Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists) who are working toward an Associate in Science Degree in Nursing. The Nursing program is a selective admission, limited enrollment program. Students must be prepared for rigorous coursework, and must meet all prerequisites before admission into the program.
