Course Description: This course focuses on the dominant ideas in Western cultural expressed in art, literature, music, philosophy and religion. Prerequisite: Successful completion of ENC 1101 or its equivalent (with a grade of “C” or better). Credit: This is a writing reinforcement course which requires a minimum of 6,000 words. Minimum grade of C required if used to satisfy this Gordon Rule requirement. Successful completion of this course will satisfy three hours required in Humanities. Required Textbooks: Brokaw, Tom
