Remedial Flashing Repairs

WORK PERFORMED on window headers

• Access the work area using manlifts

• Remove and salvage 315 LF of brick to expose steel lintel and backup wall

• Clean, prep, and coat the steel lintel

• Perform surface prep and tuckpointing

• Install new waterproofing membrane with end dams, termination bar, and drip edge

• Seal termination bar and seams with new mastic

• Install new precast stone header and one course of salvaged brick, including new weep holes

WORK PERFORMED on window sills

• Remove and salvage 300 LF of window sills

• Install new drip edge with through-wall flashing

• Seal seams and drip edge/flashing with mastic

• Reinstall salvaged sills and repoint head joints

• Install urethane sealant joint at window base

• Seal termination bar and seams with new mastic

• Power wash affected masonry to remove dust
