Welcome to the 2026 V-A-L Charolais Just Quality Bull Sale!

Welcome and Thank you for your continued support of our program and your faith in the bulls and in us as we work hard to bring the very best that we can to you, our valued customers and friends. As most of you know this sale marks our 59 th year of raising and focusing solely on performance Charolais cattle. It takes a lot of work to get to this point each year and it comes around so fast! Time really does fly when you are doing what you love with the people you love. Ours is a family operation and on a lot of days it’s an “all hands-on deck” proposition, even bringing the newest Garner’s along while Dad and Mom work, its good to be bringing up the next generation the way we were brought up. We are humble and thankful to be continuing in the lifestyle that we all value and love.

As you are browsing this year’s offering you’ll see offspring of our two new herd bulls that True found in Canada-both are complete outcross genetics to our pedigrees and have been great additions here. The first is Pro-Char Versailles 47K P He was the high selling bull out of the reputable Pro-Char program in 2023 and were fortunate enough to bring him home! He is a long bodied, smooth made, good footed, good dispositioned and calves easy with consistently light birthweights but shows good growth and performance as the calves grow out. We think you’ll love his sons.

The second Herd Sire is Dogpatch Kayak 47K P. What a stud this guy has been. A little more birthweight with this powerhouse and maybe a little more early maturity, making him a good choice on mature cows and especially if you sell your calves at weaning, he shines as a weaning weight leader.

Check out the new blood along with the entire offering and please call us or e-mail or text message whatever works, all questions. We love an excuse to visit with you and talk more about the bulls. They will be washed and penned 3-5 days before the sale so come by if you can, to walk through the sale pens and just look them over. It’s a fun time!

The sale will be broadcast online again this year with liveactions.tv and each and every bull will be run through the ring. It’s more work to do it that way but we know it makes for a much better sale experience -one that you have come to expect and appreciate. Coffee and rolls will be available the morning of the sale with a really nice Tri-Tip lunch at noon.

Fink 0431 of 7982 GS: Gold Standard out of top Free Lunch female in the breed. 0431 was chosen as a complete outcross to our genetics, boasts impressive performance and carcass EPDs including top 3% YW, 2% carcass WT, 6% Marbling and TSI. Smooth made, attractive and gentle.

Calving Ease Performance Bull with an average BW of 79.8lbs on 23 calves in his first year here. Versailles has proved himself to calve easy and was chosen as a option for breeding heifers through AI this past summer, as well as covering a group of cows. This bull is easy fleshing and extremely long with great thickness and he passes that to his offspring.

Performance bull. He ranks in the top 15% for CW and top 20% for REA. His CE EPD is not as high but we have had tremendous success using this bull on our heifers. This bull is as long as a freight train with extremely smooth shoulders built for calving ease and overall growth and performance.

HERD SIRES

Calving Ease Sire. He ranks in the top15% for BW and CE and top 30% for MCE. He is truly the best heifer bull we’ve ever used. His sons will stamp their offspring with deep sides, strong toplines and a look that will turn some heads at the sale barn.

Performance Bull. Son of RBM FARGO who posts top EPD numbers in WW, YW, CW & REA. Good milk numbers. Watch for LT FARGO 0683’s son’s for growth, feedlot performance and red meat yield on the rail. On the moderate side.

Performance Bull. Son of the very Popular Turnbull Duty-Free out of a donor quality Cow at DogPatch Acres. A

profiling bull from every angle, but when you get in behind him, that's when you

quarters. Boy does he stamp his calves with that same thickness!

Speaking of a patriarch, he’s turning legend around here. Meat, muscle, quiet, gentle disposition, a big perfect foot and his ability to maintain fleshiness year-round and in a beautiful package even as an old man…. he has left his mark! His EPD’s continue to climb, Top 10% CW, & Marbling and 20% REA highlight his carcass bull status. Sired by the legendary LT Ledger 0332 and out of V-A-L legacy genetics SJ and Showking!

Red and top son of V-A-L Ledger 3509 out of a V-A-L Rippin’ Red Rage J-82 daughter. We believe this bull is one of the deepest, most structurally sound bulls we’ve ever raised. Big nutted, big footed and his daughters mature early and have great udders. His sons are wide topped, long and deep sided. .

Calving ease sire, deep sided, pretty bull. Great disposition. Calving ease, milk, marbling, easy do, great feet. On the moderate side.

Ledger 3509 son. Top 4% WW, CW & REA, Top 6% YW and top 30% Marbling and his EPDS continue to climb. Top 8% TSI. This has been one heck of a bull who has made a big impact here! Sires powerful calves that wean good, are high performing in the feedlot and go on to hang a heavy, big rib eye carcasses.

Fink 0288 of 5533 FL : Free Lunch out of a Gold Standard daughter. Her maternal grandsire is Gridmaker, maternal granddam is M6 Duke & Cigar. Eye watering EPS in performance and carcass. TSI and marbling top 2%! 4.24 on his IMF scan. Complete outcross on our genetics.

V-A-L RED

A spitting image of his sire Versailles but RED. This is one nice Bull off a proven red factor Keys Clyde Cow thats done some great things here.

10/39 AWW. Dark Red Clyde son out of a good, red, 3509 daughter.

8/39 AYW & Top 4% Marbling EPD. Ratioed 151 on IMF Scan. This calf’s mom was the #1 Marbling heifer of 2020 heifers and he is the #2 marbling bull calf out of his group of 37. Nice to see all performance and all carcass ratios over 100. Well rounded.

Benaiah son out of a moderate LT Patriot daughter. Mom is so gentle and friendly, wants to be in your back pocket, this calf is the same. Nice commercial bull.
