While Vail is most known for its 5,289 skiable acres, this ski town turns into an outdoor lover’s dream in the summer with 1,100 acres of open space and 350,000 surrounding acres of national forest. With dozens of world-class hotel and lodging options, countless restaurants, and retail options, Vail is the premiere resort destination in the world. Vail sees an estimated 1.2M guests per summer. As the saying goes: “Come for the winter, stay for the summer.”
