Ceramic and Jewellery Street Sale
Sidewalk Sale featuring handmade creations by the VAC students and teachers.
Schedule: Friday June 16, 12 to 6 pm and Saturday June 17, 10 am to 4 pm.
Workshop for children (ages 5-10): Paper Insects and Flowers
Teacher: Isabelle Bredt
Workshop 1: Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Workshop 2: Saturday, June 17 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
This workshop will be fun, educational, and nature-friendly. Join us to celebrate the summer season, as we learn about the anatomy of insects and flowers, while creating our own creatures and flowers, adding a bit of madness and a lot of colour to our creations!
Costs: $10 per participant.

Informations sur l’accessibilité de l’école d’art du Centre des arts visuels
L’école compte 7 studios répartis sur 4 étages (y compris le sous-sol). Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur (bien que nous soyons en train de lever des fonds pour en avoir un!).
L’atelier de céramique est situé au sous-sol et il y a 14 marches de l’entrée à l’atelier. Il y a une salle de bain à ce niveau mais elle n’est pas accessible aux fauteuils roulants.
Le rez-de-chaussée compte un studio accessible aux fauteuils roulants. On peut accéder au Studio E par la galerie pour éviter les escaliers, ou par l’entrée de Somerville, qui compte deux marches. Si la galerie est fermée, vous pouvez appeler le bureau pour obtenir de l’aide. Le Studio F, qui se trouve au rez-dechaussée, a une porte sur Somerville et une rampe d’accès. Il y a des toilettes accessibles aux fauteuils roulants, avec une barre de soutien dans la galerie.

Accessibility Information for the School at the Visual Arts Centre
The school has 7 studios on 4 floors (including the basement). There is no elevator (though we are fundraising for one!)
The ceramic studio is located in the basement and there are 14 steps from the entrance to the studio. There is a washroom on this level but it is not wheelchair accessible.
The ground floor has one wheelchair-accessible studio. Studio E can be accessed via the gallery to avoid stairs, or via the Somerville entrance, which has two stairs. If the gallery is closed you may ring the office for assistance. Studio F, a low-barrier studio, has a door on Somerville and a ramp leading to it. There is a wheelchair-accessible washroom, with a support bar in the gallery.
