Introduction to Messenger Resources

2021 ANNUAL MEETING MESSENGER RESOURCES

Since the BGAV Annual Meeting is entirely online this year, we are providing all our readers with this special issue of BGAV Express to convey important information about the event for our messengers and guests in preparation for the program and business sessions.

As in a typical year, Participating Churches of the BGAV are allotted messengers based upon their giving to the Virginia portion of Cooperative Missions in the prior year.

In consultation with our Parliamentarian, we will be conducting only essential items of business that require a vote for us to move forward with BGAV operations and ministries for the 2022 fiscal year. All registered messengers must be elected by his/her church. Only messengers are permitted to vote during the business session on Wednesday morning.

The items requiring a vote (listed below) are presented here on pages 10–33 and will be introduced during the Tuesday broadcast. Voting will occur during the Wednesday morning session (livestreamed).
