Luxury Cork Flooring

Whether it’s Natural Cork or our Wood Look floors, CortejoTM is made almost entirely from the bark of the Quercus suber or cork oak, which is native to the Alentejo and is one of the most common tree species in Portugal.

The outer bark is harvested from the trunks of these ancient trees every nine years. In making cork, the tree is not harmed - as cork trees regrow their bark and can live for centuries, sustaining ancient ecosystems and protecting dozens of rare species of flora and fauna, whilst supporting a traditional rural lifestyle.

High Resistance Technology

The natural cork surface is protected with a PVC free resin coating or High Resistance Technology (HRT) which is the best solution for those looking for a floor with superior comfort and excellent thermal and acoustic performance without the use of harmful plastics that exist in LVT (luxury vinyl tiles) or other similar floor coverings.

Naturally water resistant

Each cork layer is naturally water resistant, which makes Cortejo® Natural Cork ideal for any interior space
