Saddle Up introduces students to the demands of college coursework and helps them develop critical thinking, planning, and study skills necessary for future success. This program will also offer students a look into the experience of an academic semester, including participation in classes, student wellness, connection with classmates, managing your time for academic success, and much more!

Food

UW has a large selection of on-campus dining throughout campus. Firstyear students are required to select a meal plan through Washakie Dining Center. Each meal plan is linked to your WyoOnce card, so you won’t need cash. In addition, your meal plan provides you with Dining Dollars that you can reload to allow you to eat at various locations around campus.

Parking

If you plan on bringing a car to campus, make sure you purchase a parking permit through Transportation Services. Permits can be purchased ahead of time at uwyo.edu/tps or through their office located 1602 E. Spring Creek Dr.

Laundry

Each Residence Hall has a laundry facility located in the basement.

Payment is made through your WyoOne card. Money can be placed on your card in the lower level of Washakie Center by using the PHIL machine.

STEP Satellite Center

The STEP Satellite Center, located in the lower level of the Washakie Center, offers free academic support services to students on a drop-in basis. Tutors are available to provide assistance for a variety of subjects.

Bike Lockers

Bike lockers are located outside the Residence Halls. Residents can rent these lockers by calling Vending Services at (307) 766-4104 or by visiting uwyo.edu/vending.

Information Technology

Residence Hall students get free high-speed internet access through direct connection to the UWyo Network or ethernet cables. Ethernet cables are provided at the front desk of each Residence Hall. For more information, or support, call (307) 766-4257, or visit uwyo.edu/infotech.
