We offer a huge variety of activities and events and provide the very best sports clubs, societies, student networks, volunteering opportunities and Freshers’ Week entertainment. We celebrate our diverse student community at UWE Bristol and provide services, advice and support available to everyone.

YOUR NEW STUDENTS’ UNION

With a £9.2 million new Students’ Union building currently under construction at Frenchay campus, this is a really exciting time to come to UWE Bristol!

The new Students’ Union will be centrally located offering social and leisure spaces, bars, a coffee shop and a convenience store. The new building will be an exciting hub of activity, and space for students to meet and get involved with our activities and use our services. The doors are set to open in summer 2015.

FRESHERS’ WEEK

The Students’ Union will help you feel at home and meet other new students at our Welcome Weekend and Freshers’ Week events. Expect a packed schedule of daytime and evening entertainment, from guided tours of Bristol to epic clubnights with famous DJs.

If you need support with finding part-time work, accommodation, money advice or anything else your Students’ Union is here to help! We offer a Student Lettings service, JobShop, an Advice Centre and a nursery for students that need childcare.

Our shops, bars and cafes will meet your everyday needs and provide spaces to relax and socialise on campus.

The Students’ Union exists to listen to you and ensure you’re getting the best possible university experience.
