Finding a meaningful and personal way to honour the memory of a loved one or to celebrate and cherish your family and friends today, is even more special in a magical place that also holds precious memories.

In Memory

Commemorative Benches

Beautiful benches, lovingly crafted from recycled materials, will be placed at special locations across the campus and will display a plaque with your personal dedication for a four, seven or ten-year period.

Sponsorship starts at £4,000 and will also be recognised with a personal dedication in the College’s commemorative register.

When you visit to view your bench for the first time, if you would like to take Afternoon Tea, please do let us know in advance as our catering service will be offering a number of set menus.

In fine weather you will be able to take a seat, take in the view and enjoy some quiet reflection. If the weather doesn’t permit, then you would be welcome to enjoy tea in the Castle.

Scattering of Ashes at Sea

We are blessed to be in such a beautiful and special location, overlooking the Bristol Channel. This expanse of water runs through the history of the College and we are honoured to be able to offer you the opportunity to scatter the ashes of a loved one at sea.

Each scattering ceremony will be recognised with a personal dedication in our commemorative register and you will be able to invite your guests to join you for tea afterwards. If you would like to see the Afternoon Tea menu and tariff, please do let us know in advance and all contributions will be directed towards one of UWC Atlantic’s key priority areas.

Tribute Funds You can remember a loved one and support the future of UWC Atlantic by donating in memory of someone special. You can set up your In Memory fundraising page via JustGiving, and contributions can be made to the fund through donations received at memorial services and funerals or any fundraising activity for UWC Atlantic.

It only takes a few minutes to set up and, once it's up and running, visitors can: Donate money to the fund at any time and from anywhere Share their fondest memories and include their favourite photos and home videos Leave supportive memories Share the page on social media All money raised in the name of your loved one will support UWC Atlantic priority areas.

Scholarships

You are able to sponsor and part-sponsor the future of talented and deserving students at UWC Atlantic by donating towards a scholarship. These gifts are both life-changing and life-affirming.

If you can make a generous donation for a full scholarship, you will be invited to offer the scholarship in yours, or your loved one's name. In addition, those donating towards a full scholarship will receive a personal dedication recorded in our commemorative register and receive regular updates from the sponsored student.

In Celebration

Birthday Donations

Birthdays are wonderful! But of course, they only come around once a year, so why not extend your birthday and make it extra special by asking for donations to the College in lieu of presents? That way you, and we, have something special to celebrate and to treasure forever.

We would welcome gifts to support the College and friends and family can support with donations in areas that mean the most to you.

Anniversaries

Donate in celebration to the place that has helped shape your life’s journey.

A rose is the symbol of love, so what about surprising a loved one on your anniversary by planting or sponsoring an Anniversary Rose in the UWC Atlantic Rose Garden for you and others to enjoy.
