A NEW TRADITION AT SYLVAN GROVE

RAISE A GLASS TO THE CLASS OF 2015!

During first-year orientation, students touch the four columns that stand in Sylvan Grove and connect to the generations of Huskies who have come before them. When they are ready to graduate, they return, to touch the columns again and open the next chapter of their lives as UW alumni.

You are invited to welcome the newest members of the UW Alumni Association family at a ceremony and champagne celebration on

From there, climb aboard the luxurious MS Amadeus Silver for a seven-day cruise on the Mosel and Rhine rivers and experience Europe’s treasured winter towns, dressed in their holiday best. Along the way, learn about the history, traditions and terroir of the region from experienced guides and expert lecturers. With plenty of opportunities to indulge in regional specialties and shop for unforgettable gifts, it’s a wonderful way to build new holiday memories to last a lifetime. (Dec. 1–12).

(June 7) and Portland (July 19) as alumni all over the country gather for tasty food and Husky camaraderie. This beloved summertime tradition also continues in the Bay Area and L.A./O.C. in August.
