University of Vermont SORORITY RECRUITMENT September 7th 11th

During formal recruitment, you will be introduced to each of our six chapters, where you will learn a little bit more about their values and you’ll get to establish connections with members in each of these chapters! These individuals are leaders in our smaller FSL community, and in the greater UVM and Burlington Community. They put their academics first and strive together and individually at UVM. All members of our community are passionate about their chapters, philanthropy, and supporting other philanthropies as well. Each of our six chapters have a different philanthropic mission that they focus on, while also helping to support the entire FSL community as well through community service and attending other chapters' philanthropy events

Dear PNMS

In each round, you will get the opportunity to learn about each of the chapter's values, member experience, and how individual members in that chapter have grown through their chapter. During these rounds, it is important to be yourself and show these chapters your values and how you can grow through joining their organization. The formal recruitment process can be overwhelming at times, but our recruitment advisors will be here to support you through it all! The Rho Gammas will be there throughout all of recruitment to answer any questions you have, and to provide support throughout your formal recruitment process. And at the end of recruitment on bid night, they will be running home at the same time as you to join in the celebration! In joining a sorority, you can find your second family like myself and many other members have! I encourage you to begin this process with an open mind and continue to keep your mind open as new possibilities open up to you! E er one on the recruitment team and every member in each chapter are so excite and join you in your recruitment journey! Best, Avery Alexy VP Membership & Recruitment

It brings me so much happiness to welcome you all to Formal Recruitment 2022!

Cassandra Uy VP Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

With recruitment at the start of our academic year, it is important that we use this time as a time to reconnect and strengthen our bonds as we welcome new members. Going into recruitment I ask that we recongnize all current and future memebrs of our community. This includes not making assumptions about one's identities or experiences based on their appearance. I want to emphasize the use of inclusive language. Many of our chapters include memebers who do not identify as women. As a non women identifying Rho Gamma, I want tomake sure all PNMs and current members feel comfortable in our spaces. Remember to acknowledge and use individuals' proper pronouns, share yours. Lastly, I want to thank all chapters, especially the recruitment chairs for their effort in making this week one of the most exciting and impactful experiences one can have on this campus. With Panhel love, Recruitment
