Our team focused on boosting participation in residence hall compost collection, education about how to reduce and divert waste, and cultivating a culture of reuse on campus and beyond. At meetings we discussed how to leverage our positions to engage our peers on topics like individual vs. collective waste streams.

Rethink Waste Fair

This fair was a great opportunity to engage with various folks on campus, as well as with the partners who attended and tabled alongside us at the event. Rally Cats Cupboard, No Waste Compost, and the Chittenden Solid Waste District were just a few contributors towards making the experience so fruitful and providing inspiration for the spring Eco Fair!

The bike was employed more frequently than the car, yet it was helpful to have both available over the winter Interestingly, the team discovered that the residence hall with the most compost per resident is Redstone Hall.
