HUCKFEST

Huckfest is the ULTIMATE UTV Takeover activity to spectate! Participants jump their vehicles from a dedicated jump to see who can send it the furthest. Huckfest is a high-adrenaline show of skill and risk unlike any other competition. Higher doesn’t mean further and faster doesn’t mean flatter. The number of jumps per participant will be determined at the time of the activity. The number may change due to various conditions and safety factors, along with the number of participants.
We ask that all competitors have experience jumping their vehicle and participate logically, safely, within the capacity of their vehicle and driver safety equipment! Due to the nature of the event, we ask that all spectators remain behind all activity markers and signs. Please park your vehicle off the front lines to allow the thousands of spectators a fair shot to view the competition. This is a 1st/2nd place trophied event!

WHEELIEFEST
PRESENTED BY: FULL THROTTLE BATTERY
One of the biggest events at UTV Takeover is Wheeliefest! Drawing crowds of thousands of spectators, Wheeliefest is so much more than getting the front wheels of the ground! Participants need to approach the launch at just the right speed, throttle into it at just the right moment, and then carry that momentum for the longest distance possible. Vehicles can make a clean run or drag bumper. Participants must drive away from the wheelie, or the run does not count!
For everybody’s safety, we ask that all spectators stay behind track markers and signs. Please park away from the track boundaries to allow standing room near the sidelines. Everybody wants a good view of the best wheelie competition in the United States!

SLALOM SHOWDOWN

Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping head-to-head elimination race at the Slalom Showdown! Two UTVs battle it out on a thrilling course, starting with a high-speed slalom through three barrels. At the far end, drivers execute a tight 180-degree turn around a fourth barrel before flooring it in a drag race back to the starting line. Precision, speed, and guts determine who advances and who’s out in this intense, bracket-style showdown!

DAYTIME GROUP RIDES
These rides are not a race and there are no prizes to be won. Led by an experienced and knowledgeable guide, spirited drivers start at the front of the pack and cruisers are encouraged to join near the middle or end of the pack. All participants are asked to be respectful of all other’s driving skill levels. These rides are approximately two hours, covering about 15 miles from the base of Banshee Hill to the southern dunes and back.

NIGHTTIME GROUP RIDES

These rides take place at sunset and is the biggest thrill ride on the dunes! Starting at the base of Banshee Hill, these rides run to the S.E. dunes, take a break, and then run back to Banshee Hill. Spirited drivers are encouraged to run at the front of the pack and allow cruisers to fill in the back. This is not a race and there are no prizes to be won. Drive at the speed you are comfortable with and enjoy the unique experience! Please be respectful of other drivers and skill levels. Please follow the leader and do not cut unsafely through the group. These rides will last approximately one hour.

UTV Takeover Drag Racing is quickly becoming one of the most popular and talked-about events in the sand series! Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a serious racer, this is your chance to compete and kick off the day’s festivities with high-speed action.
New for This Year – Major Upgrades!
We’ve significantly leveled up the racing experience with several exciting improvements:
One Full Day of Test-N-Tune – We’ve added one dedicated day of testing and tuning before the race days, giving everyone plenty of time to dial in their vehicles and get the most out of their setups.
Professional Porta Tree Lighting System – We’ve installed a full-featured timing system complete with staging lights, finish lights, MPH sensors, and official track times. This brings our drag racing to a whole new level, delivering a true professional racing feel for both serious competitors and enthusiasts.
Improved Racing Format – We’ve restructured the event by consolidating the four classes across two days and running two classes at a time. This creates non-stop action on the track for the crowd while giving the Pro and Unlimited classes extra time between runs to cool down and fine-tune their machines for peak performance.
Racing Format
All races will be heads-up, head-to-head with no staggered starts.
-Duner and Sport Classes: Will stage in a separate lane and run in the order they arrive.
Pro and Unlimited Classes: Will compete in a tournament bracket format for fair, exciting matchups. Each Pro and Unlimited driver will receive a dedicated pit space for their team and vehicles and will be called to the line when it’s their turn. Pro and Unlimited classes will run on a fresh track and drivers must be ready to pull on the track when the dozer pulls off the track.

Experience the thrill of nighttime drag racing grudge matches, where anything goes! Race anyone with any vehicle in a casual, high-energy environment under the lights. Test your car, challenge your friends, or take on anyone bold enough to line up against you. The sand drag strip opens in the evenings (check schedule) for epic showdowns, perfect for tuning your ride or just soaking in the action. Whether you’re racing or spectating, it’s an unforgettable way to end the day!

Whether your rig is showroom clean or covered in sand from the dunes, enter your ride in our Daytime Show-N-Shine competition and show off your bling, performance upgrades, and custom-built components in front of the entire UTV Takeover community! KIDS ZONE

Between ripping in the dunes and participating in all the daily activities, make sure to take a break and let the kids do their thing in the Kids Zone located near the UTV Takeover Community tent. Grab a snack or drink while the kids enjoy coloring, crafts, and more! The Kids Zone is not a daycare, and all kids must be supervised at all times by at least one parent or guardian.

Join us in the short course arena for some barrel racing action. Three barrels are set up for competitors to race around and through the finish line. Tight turning vehicles typically have the advantage, unless you have the power to throttle the tail around! Barrel Races are also a great spectating event for the whole family!

Join Let’s Ride for Cans 4 Kids, a community recycling drive helping keep the dunes clean while supporting CASA for Children of Coos and Curry County. We’ll be handing out collection bags at the checkin gates when attendees first arrive, and you can stop by the Let’s Ride booth anytime to grab more. Bring your full bags of cans back to our booth to earn free cotton candy and help raise money for a great local cause. Last year, this drive raised over $550 - this year, our goal is $1,000!

DEMO RIDES

Are you thinking of buying or upgrading to a new UTV or ATV? Stop by both of our Demo Ride locations to check out the latest Polaris model vehicles. You can sign up for a FREE test ride in one of these brand new vehicles and get a feel for the power and characteristics of each machine on the designated test courses. Each ride will last about 25 minutes and provide various types of terrain to really get a good feel for the vehicle. Helmets are REQUIRED for all test rides. Join us Friday night on Vendor Row for our big Block Party! We want to see everyone out enjoying a fun-filled evening as Vendor Row comes alive with music, drink specials, and food specials. Gather around the bonfire, play some cornhole, and soak in the great dune community atmosphere.

The fun begins at 7:00 PM with an industry ride open to the public, companies, and volunteers, offering a thrilling chance to hit the dunes before a packed event week. Afterward, we’ll gather at the main community tent in the heart of Vendor Row for a night of celebration. Enjoy music, delicious food, and drink specials, with FREE food and drinks for VIPs. Warm up by the bonfire, play cornhole and compete in the all new Tire Relay event. Join us to start the week with a bang!
CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

Join us in the middle of Vendor Row, in front of the UTV Takeover Community Tent, for amazing cornhole action! Bring a partner, or show up solo and we will assign you a partner. UTV Takeover staff will organize cornhole matches and teams at random. This tournament will be a single-elimination tournament with winners advancing each round. The main event is Wednesday evening, but the cornhole boards will be available all week for you to challenge your friends and family!

The UTV Takeover Benefit Raffles were created “by the riders, for the riders” to help raise funds for multiple charities while giving back to the enthusiasts that make our community great! While you are enjoying all of the vendors and FREE activities, please swing by the UTV Takeover Community Tent and purchase a few raffle tickets to help support the cause. TIRE RELAY

Join us Tuesday night during the Launch Party for our exciting new Tire Relay event, taking place right in the middle of Vendor Row!
This fun relay race puts teams of two or four (depending on sign-ups) against each other in a fast-paced tire-rolling competition. Each team member will take turns rolling a tire from one side of the course to the other, then hand it off to their teammate who will roll it back. The relay continues until every member of the team has completed their leg. It’s an elimination-style event — winning teams stay in to compete in the next round, while losing teams become enthusiastic spectators.
Come sign up, grab your team, and get ready for plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and tire-rolling action! Don’t miss this highenergy addition to Tuesday night’s Launch Party.
ROCK-N-ROLL BINGO

Join us in the Community Tent for a family-friendly fun game of Rockn-Roll Bingo and a chance to win great prizes from our sponsors. It is FREE to play and a blast for all ages. Rock-n-Roll Bingo is similar to standard Bingo. You win by completing a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line or getting combinations like all four corner squares or a blackout. The difference is that instead of a numbered grid, each board consists of artist names and song titles. The DJ will play random songs for approximately 30 seconds, and you identify them on your card. Play continues until a winning combination is achieved!

BLIND BANDIT

The ultimate combination of driver and navigator, Blind Bandit requires drivers to navigate a tight sand course blindfolded, receiving verbal instructions from their passenger(s). Through the obstacle course, navigators will have to grab money bags resting on top of barrels without getting out of their vehicle. Missed/dropped bags and touched barrels incur a time penalty. Complete the course by backing into your marked hideout. The fastest time wins!

Come show off your strength in our tire toss competition. Each contestant will get two throws of an MX tire of the appropriate size. Only the furthest of the two throws will count. This activity is family-friendly with Men’s, Women’s, Teen, and Youth classes. Bring the whole family out for a chance to win raffle tickets, trophies, and, best of all, bragging rights!

Trailering on and off the sand can be quite the adventure, but we try to make things as easy as possible for all attendees! If you aired down to get your camping rig out onto the sand, make sure to stop by the Air Station on the way out to fill your truck and trailer tires back to safe road-worthy pressure!
Notes: Station is Sunday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (noon) only!
POKER RUN

This is an all-new activity where you have 14 opportunities to gather a maximum of 7 playing cards to create the best 5-card poker hand. Only the top 5 cards will be used on each card.
Classes:
- All Ages – 1st and 2nd Place trophy!
RULES:
Each player will receive one punch card at a time.
If you finish your poker hand on Thursday players are allowed to receive a 2nd card when their first poker hand is turned in.
The 2nd card will only be given if the 1st poker hand is completed with at least 5 cards/punches.
Lost, damaged or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
Each player must draw their own cards. Do not have one family member draw all the cards.
Each player will draw a maximum of 7 cards and minimum of 5 cards.
The top 5 cards will be used to make the best 5 card poker hand.
Ties will be settled by a single round of cornhole.

The annual Takeover Treasure Hunt is a must for anybody wanting to see all of what Winchester Bay has to offer! Our clues will take you and your family through the event, Vendor Row, into the dunes, secret waypoints, and more! Take selfies with your team for points. The player with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, the winner is determined by who finishes the fastest. Participants will need to pick up their Treasure Hunt package from the Community Tent and can be turned in each day to the Community Tent up until Saturday at 2:00 PM.

TREASURE HUNT - KIDS

This exciting activity is perfect for the little ones while parents shop or relax in the food court. Kids will explore all of Vendor Row searching for 12 secret Waldo signs hidden throughout the area — including vendor booths, the Community Tent, the Merch Booth, and open spaces. Once they’ve found all 12 signs, snap a picture of them and return to the Community Tent to redeem a prize! Participants will need to pick up their Treasure Hunt package from the Community Tent and can be turned in each day to the Community Tent up until Saturday at 2:00 PM. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the fastest completion time.

Mascot Mayhem returns to UTV Takeover! This family friendly game is a hoot and ANYBODY can compete. Starting on one end of the Sand Drag strip, racers will race down their lane to a designated spot where they will stop. The passenger will get out and put on a provided costume. Once dressed, the passenger will reenter the vehicle and race to the finish line. Pretty simple, but a ton of fun! This is a heads-up knockout competition that the whole family will have fun making memories along with the sand family!
Classes:
- UTV (All Makes & Models) – 1st and 2nd Place trophy! - Race Requires driver and passenger in each UTV
All participants need to be prepared to meet 30 minutes before the event for registration, safety meeting, and tech!
PITCREW CHALLENGE
The PITCREW Challenge is an adrenaline-pumping tire-changing competition where teams race against the clock to showcase their speed and skill. Participants must jack up a UTV, remove the lug nuts, swap out a tire, and lower the vehicle back to the ground, with the timer stopping only when the jack is returned to the starting point. In a thrilling relay race format, each team member takes a turn completing the challenge, and the team’s total time determines their score. The fastest team claims victory in this high-energy, precision-driven event!

- All Ages, No vehicles or tools required – 1st and 2nd Place trophy!
All participants need to be prepared to meet 30 minutes before the event for registration!
HAPPY HOUR
The large group campfire will be roaring, food from our vendors will be hot, and the drinks will be cold. Come hang out at the UTV Takeover Community Tent on Vendor Row each night from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM to check out the nightly activities, meet some new friends, grab some food, check out the vendors. A heads-up race between two drivers on a single infinity track, UTV Takeover Short Course races will test who has just the right combination of suspension, horsepower, and skill. As racers get eliminated, the deeper the ruts get, dynamically changing the course! The course covers two football fields and features multiple elevation changes, corners, and jumps. In the end, the two fastest racers go head-to-head for the coveted 1st place Takeover trophy! Grab some snacks, kick back and enjoy the best in our deep community of racers!

We welcome 16-year-old off-road racer Alivia “Livi” Wright, a returning UTV Takeover Ambassador. Born and raised in Utah, Livi has been fueled by speed and adrenaline from an early age, progressing from quads and dirt bikes to SXS racing. Known for her determination, competitive spirit, and fearless attitude on the track, she continues to push herself at every event. Her dedication and hard work have earned her multiple sponsorships, team opportunities, and recognition as one of the rising young talents in the off-road community.

At 13, Sage Parker, aka “Savage Sage,” has been an off-road prodigy since age two, starting on a Honda quad and mastering dune jumps. From a Polaris Ace 325 to a 2022 Polaris RS1, his skills soared, landing a viral 200-foot wheelie. In 2022, he debuted at UTV Takeover Huckfest, became an ambassador in 2023, and in 2024, won 1st in Huckfest’s Non-Turbo Class. Now, Sage eyes UTV short course racing in his CanAm Maverick R.

Meet Aurora Horn, a passionate young racer who started her off-road journey at just 7 years old in a Polaris 200. Since then, she has earned multiple firstand second-place finishes and now races short course in a Polaris RS1 as part of the Whiskey Throttle Race Team in Utah. When she’s not on the track, Aurora stays active in competitive dance, bringing the same focus, determination, and energy to everything she does.
Welcome Chris Smith, a returning UTV Takeover Ambassador! From Elmira, Oregon, Chris has loved motorsports since age 6, racing go-karts and dirt bikes. After leaving his 9-to-5 in 2019, he embraced dune adventures with his Yamaha YXZ. As ROWDY HAMMERS, Chris shares his high-octane lifestyle on YouTube with wife Haley, dog Colt Whiskey, and lifelong friends.
Meet Noah Miska, a 12-year-old short course racer with a passion for racing, big air, and the UTV lifestyle. Noah races his Polaris RS1 as part of the Whiskey Throttle Race Team and thrives on the adrenaline and excitement of competition. Known for his determination, sportsmanship, and energy both on and off the track, Noah enjoys racing, working in the pits with his family, and connecting with fellow racers and fans everywhere he goes.
