T E A M TA K E OV E R UTV Takeover is put on every year under the direction of owners Steve McCarthy and Jim McIntire. Created out of a passion for the offroad experience and the fantastic community surrounding this sport, we could not do ANY of these events without our amazing staff and volunteers! UTV Takeover requires hundreds of people every day to put on such an extraordinary offroad event, and we can't thank them enough. Many of our staff and volunteers give up their vacations, time with their families, and more to help scan tickets, empty refuse containers, take campers to their camping spot, put up fencing, support vendors, sponsors, and so much more!

The UTV Takeover events have grown exponentially every year since the inception in 2015 around a campfire. We feel beyond blessed and are humbled every time we talk with an attendee having the time of their lives. Memories are priceless and we think everybody should have the opportunity to get out and enjoy the outdoors and their machines, making memories that last a lifetime.

HUCKFEST

PRESE NTE D B Y: HUMB OL DT M OTO R S P ORT S & O BO R T I R E S Huckfest is the ULTIMATE UTV Takeover activity to spectate!

Participants jump their UTVs from a dedicated jump to see who can send it the furthest. Huckfest is a high-adrenaline show of skill and risk unlike any other competition. Higher doesn’t mean further and faster doesn’t mean flatter. The number of jumps per participant will be determined at the time of the activity. The number may change due to various conditions and safety factors, along with the number of participants.

We ask that all competitors have experience jumping their vehicle and participate logically, safely, within the capacity of their vehicle and driver safety equipment! Due to the nature of the event, we ask that all spectators remain behind all activity markers and signs. Please park your vehicle off the front lines to allow the thousands of spectators a fair shot to view the competition.

One of the biggest events at UTV Takeover is Wheeliefest!

Drawing crowds of thousands of spectators, Wheeliefest is so much more than getting the front wheels off the ground!

Participants need to approach the launch at just the right speed, throttle into it at just the right moment, and then carry that momentum for the longest distance possible.

Vehicles can make a clean run or drag bumper. Participants must drive away from the wheelie, or the run does not count! This event is held just North of Boxcar Hill. For everybody's safety, we ask that all spectators stay behind track markers and signs. Please park away from the track boundaries to allow standing room near the sidelines.

Everybody wants a good view of the best wheelie competition in the United States!

HILLFEST PR ESE NT ED BY: S UP ERI OR M OTOR SP ORT S Judged on completion time, UTV Takeover's Hillfest will test both man and machine as participants navigate our sand hill-climb course. Participants will start at the bottom of the hill, cut up the bottom of the hill, make a 180° turn, cut through the trees, make another 180° turn, continue upwards across the hill, another 180° turn, through the trees again, make one last 180° turn to then b-line it to the finish line! Don't discount how technical a 180° turn can be, at speed, headed downhill, into a rut! With all the physics involved in these races, this is a great event to attend with the whole family! Hillfest is held at the large dune near just north of Boxcar Hill.

SAND DRAGS

PR ESE NT ED BY: K WI CLUTCH I NG The UTV Takeover Sand Drags are quickly becoming one of our sand events’ most talked-about activities! Anybody can compete and is a great way to start off the day’s festivities!

There will be test-n-tune times before each race, with trophies presented for each class.

This is a 1st/2nd place trophied event per class!

Sport UTV Class (Factory NA & Turbo): 100% stock except for filter replacement, muffler replacement, and ECU tunes (no launch control) are allowed.

Pro UTV Class (NA & Turbo): Cars must have a factory engine, transmission and must retain a front differential. Cars must retain the factory number of seats.

Unlimited UTV Class: Cars must retain factory chassis and be visually identifiable as the original make/model of the vehicle. NO aluminum cages allowed!

GRUDGE MATCHES: The sand drag strip will be available in the evenings (see schedule) to throw down with your buddies or anybody that wants to challenge you to a race! This is a great way to end the day, racing or watching!

SHORT COURSE

PRESEN T ED B Y: VI S IO N D I E S E L P E R F OR M AN CE A heads-up race between two drivers on a single infinity track, UTV Takeover Short Course races will test who has just the right combination of suspension, horsepower, and skill.

As racers get eliminated, the deeper the ruts get, dynamically changing the course! The course covers two football fields and features multiple elevation changes, corners, and jumps. In the end, the two fastest racers go head-to-head for the coveted 1st place Takeover trophy! Grab some snacks, kick back and enjoy the best in our deep community of racers!

DAY G R O U P R I D E S

PRESEN T ED B Y: A DD I CT I ON P OW E R S P ORT S N W UTV Takeover Oregon’s Daytime Group Rides are an extended and spirited ride through the Oregon dunes.

These rides are not a race, and there are no prizes to be won. Drive at the speed you are comfortable with and enjoy the ride. Lead by an experienced and knowledgeable guide; spirited drivers are encouraged to start at the front, cruisers to join near the middle or end of the pack. We ask all participants to be respectful of all other drivers and skill levels. These rides are scheduled to last approximately two (2) hours, covering about 50 miles from Boxcar Hill up to Spinreel Campground and back, so please prepare and pack your vehicle accordingly. Snacks, drinks, and safety/ recovery equipment are recommended, though nothing on the ride should be challenging or risky.

UTV Takeover Night Rides take the Daytime Rides to the next level! These rides take place after dark and light the dunes up with a magical parade of lights! Starting at Boxcar Hill, these night runs make their return near Hauser Road.

Spirited drivers are encouraged to battle it out at the front of the pack and allow cruisers to fill in the back. These rides are not a race, and there are no prizes to be won. Drive at the speed you are comfortable with and enjoy the unique experience you can only get at UTV Takeover! Please be respectful of other drivers and skill levels. Please follow the leader and do not cut unsafely through the group. These rides will last approximately one (1) hour after dark, so please dress and pack accordingly. Safety/recovery equipment is recommended though nothing on the ride should be challenging or risky.

BARREL RACING

BLIND BANDIT

Barrel Races are the ultimate test of speed and nimbleness.

The Mini Games arena is set up with three barrels for competitors to race around and through the finish line. Tight turning vehicles typically have the advantage, unless you have the power to throttle the tail around! Arrive early and memorize the turns and generate a rhythm. Barrel Races are also a great spectating event for the whole family! UTV, ATV, and Youth classes available, fastest time wins.

The ultimate combination of driver and navigator, Blind Bandit requires drivers to navigate a tight sand course blindfolded, receiving verbal instructions from their passenger(s). Through the obstacle course, navigators will have to grab money bags resting on top of barrels without getting out of their vehicle.

Missed/dropped bags and touched barrels incur a time penalty. Complete the course by backing into your marked hideout. The fastest time wins!

Whether your rig is showroom clean or covered in sand from the dunes, enter your ride in our Daytime Show-n-Shine competition and show off your bling, performance upgrades, and custom-built components in front of the entire UTV Takeover community! All vehicles are welcome to join. All competing vehicles will be on display in front of the main stage during the Thursday night Benefit Raffle. A panel of UTV Takeover judges will pick an overall winner and runner up!

Crank up the music and show off your build in the annual Stereo Wars! While not a dB drag, Stereo Wars is an overall competition of quality and experience within and outside the vehicle. All vehicles are welcome to join. Vehicles will be displayed in front of the main stage during the Benefit Raffle Friday evening. A panel of UTV Takeover judges will pick an overall winner and runner up!

Enter the Nighttime Show-n-Shine and show off your lights, whips, stereo, and customizations in front of the entire Takeover community! All vehicles are welcome to join. All competing vehicles will be on display in front of the main stage during the Friday evening Rock-n-Roll Bingo. A panel of UTV Takeover judges will pick an overall winner and runner up!

The annual Takeover Treasure Hunt is a must for anybody wanting to see all of what Coos Bay has to offer! Our clues will take you and your family through the event, vendor row, into the dunes, secret waypoints, and more! Take selfies with your team for points. Most points win with ties decided with a game of Cornhole! Participants will need to pick up their Treasure Hunt package from the Community Tent and can be turned in each day between 5:30 PM & 6:00 PM, up until Saturday night.

Join us in the Community Tent for a family-friendly fun game of Rock-n-Roll Bingo and a chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors. It is FREE to play and a blast for all ages. Rock-nRoll Bingo is similar to standard Bingo. You win by completing a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line or getting combinations like all four corner squares or a blackout. The difference is that instead of a numbered grid, each board consists of artist names and song titles. The DJ will play random songs for approximately 30 seconds, and you identify them on your card. Play continues until a winning combination is achieved!

Come show off your strength in our tire toss competition.

Each contestant will get two throws of an MX tire of the appropriate size. Only the furthest of the two throws will count.

This activity is family-friendly with Men's, Women's, and Youth classes. Bring the whole family out for a chance to win raffle tickets, trophies, and, best of all, bragging rights!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to tear through the dunes with a bonified MONSTER TRUCK?! Come find out as the Titan Monster Truck will tear through the Coos Bay Short Course Sand Arena after the completion of all short course activities on Saturday, just before #Huckfest! Titan is a full-sized, full-power monster with a new motor and driver that has a hunger for destruction!

Make sure to bring the kids, cameras and get a good spot at the short course throwdown so you can enjoy the show!The Titan Monster Truck will be parked in the Short Course Sand Arena behind the caution tape. For your safety, please do not attempt to cross the tape without permission! Titan will be parked at the Vixen Industries booth on Vendor Row all week if you would like an up-close view or want to have your picture taken with the truck.

Join us for our annual ATC70 Olympics! Participants 16yrs+ will have to compete in four (4) different events to see who has the best all-around machine and skills. Events include Short Course, Drag Racing, Barrel Racing, and Wheelie Competition.

Participants gather points in each event, with the overall winner being determined by the total points accumulated.

ATC70 frame required, any motor or mods allowed!

Race the clock is a new event this year and is a combination of barrel racing and blind bandit. Each team will navigate their UTV around barrels that are placed in a circle. These barrels will be numbered like a clock, and participants will be given a list of barrel numbers in random order. It is recommended to have a navigator guide you around the course for the best time! Participants will accrue time penalties for missed, out-oforder, or knocked-over barrels. The quickest time wins.

Our newest family-friendly activity will pit two (2) teams against each other at a time and will race their UTVs to a barrel 150' from the starting line. Once stopped at the barrel, one team member will get out of their UTV, spin around a bat for the designated number of times, and then jump back into their UTV. First to the finish line wins. This is a heads-up elimination race and will eliminate teams until only one team is left standing.

The UTV Takeover Benefit Raffles were created "by the riders, for the riders" to help raise funds for multiple charities while giving back to the enthusiasts that make our community great!

While you are enjoying all of the vendors and FREE activities, please swing by the UTV Takeover Community Tent and purchase a few raffle tickets to help support the cause. We are giving away over $20,000 in donated prizes from the biggest and best companies in the industry. Tickets are available daily during tent hours. There's so much to see and learn by talking with each vendor about their products and services. This isn't your standard trade show! The UTV Takeover Vendor Row is where UTV enthusiasts meet other UTV enthusiast brands! Make sure to check for show specials and event-specific deals!

Returning this year is the Ford Raptor Experience, where attendees can sit inside a brand new Ford Raptor and experience an offroad adventure without leaving Vendor Row! This platform also serves as our Main Stage. This stage is the central location for all Benefit Raffles, Show-n-Shines, Stereo Wars, Award Ceremony, and more! Located between the UTV Takeover Community Tent and the Offroad Syndicate trailer, you can’t miss it! If you’re looking for a fun spot to get a good view of the event, make your way up onto the mezzanine above the raptor experience! Hint: it may or may not be on the Treasure Hunt…

Join us in the middle of Vendor Row, in front of the UTV Takeover Community Tent, for amazing Cornhole action! Bring a partner, or show up solo and we will assign you a partner.

UTV Takeover staff will organize Cornhole matches and teams at random. This tournament will be a single-elimination tournament with winners advancing each round. The main event is Wednesday evening, but the Cornhole boards will be available all week for you to challenge your friends and family!

The large group campfire will be roaring, food from our vendors will be hot, and the drinks will be cold. Come hang out at the UTV Takeover Community Tent on Vendor Row each night from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM to check out the nightly activities, meet some new friends, grab some food, check out the vendors. Rub elbows with the UTV Takeover athletes Al McBeth, Blake Wilkey, Ruslan Yankilevich, and Wyatt Hastings, who will be available for photos, autographs, and good stories!

DEMO RIDES

Stop by both of our Demo Ride locations to check out the latest Polaris and Yamaha model vehicles. You can sign up for a FREE test ride in one of these brand new vehicles and get a feel for the power and characteristics of each machine on the designated test courses. Each ride will last about 25 minutes and provide various types of terrain to really get a good feel for the vehicle. Helmets are REQUIRED for all test rides.

PRESEN T ED B Y: B & D M E ATS Trailering on and off the sand can be quite the adventure, but we try to make things as easy as possible for all attendees! If you aired down to get your camping rig out onto the sand, make sure to stop by the Air Station on the way out to fill your truck and trailer tires back to safe road-worthy pressure!

Notes: Station is Sunday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (noon) only!

KIDS ZONE

PRESEN T ED B Y: KI CK S A N D Between ripping in the dunes and participating in all the daily activities, make sure to take a break and let the kids do their thing in the Kids Zone located within the UTV Takeover Community tent. Grab a snack or drink while the kids enjoy coloring, crafts, and more! The Kids Zone is not a daycare, and all kids must be supervised at all times by at least one parent or guardian.

With multiple world records under his belt and sending it huge in 2020, Al returns this year to solidify his throne atop the UTV Takeover Huckfest mountain!
