The lockdown of 2020 led to a major
lifestyle transformation, compromising work
environments, schooling, fitness, and leisure
activities. The Mill introduces the studied
neighbourhood to an environment that aims
to emphasize on work-life balance. It caters
to almost every age group, offering co workspaces, a fitness centre, a restaurant, and
educational spaces.
The program is devised in a manner that helps
the users to create a healthy routine and move
away from make-shift work environments at
home. The design approach aims to give the
users a collaborative workspace, motivate
them to focus on physical and mental health
in an interactive environment and allow
meandering and exploration within the space.
The programmatic and elemental interventions
must allow the client to scale the concept in
different locations with some room for creative
alterations. This creates a profitable business
model that has a scope for expansion in various
locations.
