It is well-known that UTS has nurtured an impressive number of internationally renowned musicians, playwrights, composers and art-makers, and continues to attract some of the most talented young musicians in the city.

What is perhaps less-known, but all too familiar to our students, teachers, and alumni, is that this pursuit of excellence has always entailed a re-purposing of our hallways, closets and stairwells as teaching and rehearsal spaces.

To imagine... having dedicated learning spaces and state-of-the-art facilities for rehearsal, performance, creative and collaborative process is absolutely thrilling.

For the first time in our history, the potential of the space will reflect the potential of the students.
