summerschool UTRECHT
Get Ready for Next Summer! After a successful 2021 edition of the Summer School, we are preparing an interesting and engaging Utrecht Summer School programme for the summer of 2022! In July and August, the 36th edition of the Utrecht Summer School will take place in Utrecht, a beautiful historic city in the centre of the Netherlands. The Utrecht Summer School has become a characteristic event in the summer time, with Utrecht’s residents recognizing Summer School students from afar by their blue Summer School tote bags. With over 200 courses and a large student population, Utrecht Summer School is the largest Summer School in continental Europe. Apart from our courses on location, we will also offer online and hybrid courses for your students to enjoy from the comfort of their own home. We’re proud to have been able to offer over 80 digital courses in 2020 and 2021,

Housing
Digital courses
Utrecht Summer School offers housing for Summer School students.
Online courses are here to stay! We are very proud of the over 80 courses offered in an online format last year! Students participated in Data Science courses, Art History, Language courses and Economics .
• All accommodations can be easily reached from the various course locations. • The buildings have shared units with shared facilities and private bedrooms. • The units are furnished and contain fully equipped kitchens. Utrecht Summer School aims to house students from one course in the same units as much as possible. Housing requests are taken into consideration, creating an enjoyable, safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
We expect to offer our courses on location again next summer, but we will also host a variety of online and hybrid courses. Check our website, for all updated course information. The course description will tell you all about the format of the course.
