I enjoyed every second of my time with the Summer School - Student Battlefields Uncovered well rounded perspective on the topic at hand. Students can immerse themselves in the history of Europe, Dutch culture, European Business, Art History or the Dutch language.

To offer a truly European experience, we offer 6-week tracks that take place in Utrecht, as well as at our partner institutes in of the city. Go on a night canoeing trip through the canals, or take part in our scavenger hunts. Walk and drink in the park. Or climb the Dom tower. A great way to not only enjoy Utrecht, but also to meet fellow students of all ages and backgrounds.

Florence, Rome, Riga, Milan and Berlin! Explore the art history in these beautiful cities, look into the business network in Europe or the history of the Baltic States. Utrecht Summer School provides housing in all of these cities as well as all transport between the different course locations.

Students can also choose to creatively combine courses if they wish to extend their summer experience. Check the course overview on the next page to get an idea of how students can design their perfect summer!

Each year in July and August, a new edition of the Utrecht Summer School takes place in Utrecht, a beautiful historic city in the centre of the Netherlands. Over the years, the Utrecht Summer School has become a much valued summer event, with Utrecht residents recognizing Summer School students from afar by their blue Summer School tote bags. With about 200 courses and 3000 participants, Utrecht Summer School is the largest Summer School in mainland Europe.

With its partners, the Utrecht Summer School offers courses covering a wide range of disciplines at all academic levels. Students come from all over the world, representing about 120 different nationalities. Together they create an inspiring international

Join environment. A summer course is the ideal opportunity to deepen your knowledge, update your skills, and broaden your horizon. No matter what level or field of interest, you are bound to find a course that suits you. Students can join our social activities, ranging from night canoeing to pizza and walks in a park. There is always something to do.

Most courses take place in Utrecht. A number of courses are offered online. Participants can meet their fellow students virtually, already before the start of the course, via our Student App which is available to all Summer School students. Housing

Utrecht Summer School offers temporary housing for Summer School students.

• All accommodations can be easily reached from the various course locations.

• The buildings have shared units with shared facilities and private bedrooms.

• The units are furnished and contain fully equipped kitchens.

Utrecht Summer School tries to house students from one course in the same units as much as possible. Housing requests are taking into consideration, creating an enjoyable, safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
