Naomi & Chris

We met in a little cozy coffee shop in Boston. Chris was a new student in the city, and Naomi was a native Bostonian recently back in town. Her plan was to be in Boston for only a couple months. When she met Chris though, she knew she had to stay. One of our earliest and happiest memories of dating was our first weekend away together, which was winter camping. Even though we nearly froze to death, we learned a lot about each other, what we wanted out of life, and that we both saw how mishaps could be adventures.

Aside from the location and winter theme, our wedding was unique because every aspect truly reflected us as a couple. From the decor to the “first look” set in an aspen grove on the property, everything we selected for the wedding was a natural choice and never felt forced. Whenever we had to make a decision, we always asked ourselves what made sense to us as a couple and what would be best for our guests. Celebrating with an intimate group of family and friends in such a breathtaking setting really sealed the entire experience for us.

Our number one piece of advice is to hire a wedding planner. Once we found Katie, everything just fell into place. Selecting the venue was the first decision-point, and this set the tone for knowing our Montana winter wedding vision was coming to life. Not only was Katie on the same page as us, but she knew all the local vendors, the vibe of the area, and could help tailor everything for the location and our budget. A wedding in Montana is guaranteed to be gorgeous no matter the venue or time of year, but having a wedding planner who is an expert at bringing ideas to fruition is not only going to elevate the wedding as whole, but ensure that the experience is going to be fun and stress-free.
