MOODY FEATURE
Policy Round Table Policy Round Table is a forum for all Moody students to come together and identify issues that face the academic community. After the event, the policy committee will then address the issues and write legislation to help fix these issues.
It is NOT limited to Moody students, so bring your friends and your ideas!

STUDENTS OF MOODY "I am lucky enough to be an ULA, which is a University Learning Assistant here in the Moody College. I am able to work with a professor who I've grown really close with, I consider her to be one of my mentors, and about 80 students per class. We are teaching a Communication and Leadership class and it carries an ethics course requirement so I get to dabble in leadership theory, ethics theories, and philosophy even all throughout this one course thanks to Moody and I get paid to do it which is great. I want to go to law school so this is a great stepping stone to achieve that in the future."

“It can all be boiled down to just having the courage to step outside of your comfort zone. It’s hard at first, but Moody has so much to offer if you seek it out. I’m not exactly sure about my future, but I know that the things I’m learning from my peers, professors and classes within Moody will prepare me for what to expect in the advertising industry. I chose Moody because the advertising programs is one of the best in the country. I’m currently taking Intro to Creative and I’m hoping to eventually get into the creative sequence.”

I came to UT because I wanted to be a broadcast journalist. I wanted to do entertainment news. I knew Moody was an amazing school for that. Being taught by professors at Moody that know what they’re talking about and are experienced professionals that know the field they are teaching so well is a huge advantage. My peers have all influenced me because I feel like everyone at UT is so ambitious. When I see my peers doing things, getting internships, accomplishing big things. That pushes me and motivates me even more.
