SOUTHWEST GEOSCIENCE CENTER

FULL STEAM AHEAD

• Supported five student-led, faculty-mentored research projects annually through the Lyman Geoscience Scholars program culminating in presentations at conferences and preparation of scientific papers

• Annually provide scholarship to five students pursuing capstone experiences

• Connected with more than 100 members of the public at university and community events

IN ADDITION TO ACADEMIC USE ROOMS HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED FOR

This annual event is Southern Utah’s largest STEM experience. In 2025, 360 Utah Tech university students showcased their projects to over 400 high school students, and more than 1,000 additional visitors. 1045
