Spring 2025 Magazine
I am pleased to share with you the Spring 2025 edition of EDU Magazine as well as a report on our 2025 Giving Day outcomes. It is so important for me to share with you, our alumni and donors, some of the College of Education’s wins from 2025, so far.
It has been a truly transformative year for our college. We completed our first comprehensive Strategic Plan in over two decades. We expanded our international research initiatives as well as continued working towards more meaningful local partnerships. Our faculty are carrying out crucial research in an ever-changing landscape, including new directions in Special Education and AI integration into education. College of Education alumni are making substantial impact across educational sectors, including state leadership positions and significant national organizations. Our work demonstrates that education is more than just classroom instruction – it is a catalyst for change in our communities.
The results of this year’s Giving Day demonstrate the impact that philanthropy has on our students and community. We offer the spring 2025 EDU magazine as a window into our achievements and ongoing initiatives that demonstrate the transformative power of education and our college’s part in shaping the educational landscape of tomorrow. Sharing our college’s story is of great importance to me as we look forward to Fall and the 175th anniversary celebration of the University of Utah.
