Focus Groups and Interviews

Focus group and interview data are very similar and have been grouped together for simplicity. While reviewing data from focus groups and interviews, the team should:

1.Have all of the notes and records from the focus group ready. Here is an example of what the “data ” for these might look like.

2. Read through each question asked in the focus group and the responses to each question. 3. Take note of similar or repeated answers and unique answers. This can be done by highlighting the text (see example below).
