FLORIDA DIVISION CONFERENCE
MAY 29TH-31ST

MAY 29TH-31ST
Dear RSPA Members,
As we approach our much-anticipated Florida Division Conference, I couldn’t be more excited to share what’s in store for this year’s event, happening May 29-31 at the
beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, followed by a special certification opportunity at Lake Nona on June 1st
We’ve put together a powerhouse lineup, headlined by none other than tennis/pickleball legends Stevie Johnson and Megan Fudge. Their presence alone promises to bring a new level of excitement and inspiration to our weekend but that’s just the beginning.
We kick things off Thursday with our popular Golf Scramble a great way to connect, relax, and enjoy the Florida sunshine while those of you who are looking to improve upon your business skill set can look forward to the specialty course being taught by Kim Bastable. The afternoon schedule sets the tone with thoughtprovoking education sessions, including an Inclusive Coaching seminar along with a panel discussion about increasing the number of tennis players in the US The day wraps up with our always fun Welcome Reception where you can reconnect with old friends and network making new friends!
Friday morning begins with Cardio Tennis and “breakfast and brainstorming” to spark ideas and camaraderie before Megan and Stevie take the court for our first on-court education session We then move into a dynamic day of learning, including a standout General Managers Panel focused on the skills and strategies to land your dream job We’ll also have an exclusive panel conversation with Megan and Stevie, followed by a National Update and our always popular Vendor Trade Show an invaluable chance to network and explore the latest in products and services
On Saturday, we open with morning Yoga for Tennis because our minds and bodies deserve a little centering too! The education sessions continue strong with topics like how to successfully sell a 5-lesson pickleball package, and “Why Padel?” a timely discussion as the sport continues to grow. We’ll celebrate excellence at our Awards Luncheon at 12:30 p.m., then close out with a comprehensive Racquets Panel exploring the synergy between tennis, pickleball, and padel.
And don’t forget on Sunday, June 1st, we wrap it all up with a unique pickleball certification opportunity at Lake Nona, a perfect way to elevate your professional credentials before heading home This year’s conference promises to be one of our best yet, with something for everyone from education and networking to personal growth and unforgettable experiences I look forward to seeing many of you there, sharing in the energy and vision that make RSPA such a special community
Warm regards,
Mike Curran President, RSPA Florida Division
