Welcome to the wonderful world of intercollegiate polo! Whether you are a seasoned interscholastic player who has been in the program since 5th grade, or a young NYTS player looking to try your hand at arena polo, this resource is for you. Please allow these following pages to give you a brief introduction to our 30-plus established USPA Intercollegiate Polo Programs. Whether you are looking for a big school or small, archeology or zoology, we offer a wide range of institutions across the United States and Canada to fit your needs. The USPA Intercollegiate Polo Program is steeped in history with the very first national championship having been held in 1922. Yale and Princeton were the sole competitors, Princeton coming out the victor. Today we have both men’s and women’s teams competing in separate divisions across four regions advancing their way through regular season and tournament play, all vying for a chance at the national championship. The intercollegiate program continues to see growth year after year and receives tremendous support from the board of governors of the USPA to afford us the opportunity to support existing programs and launch new initiatives such as the USPA Intercollegiate Scholarship Program.
