Sophia Corella, a 4th year accounting student and USL-SSC Vice-President, together with Ma. Azil Daniel, a 3rd year nursing student and MCNP-ISAP COL Chairman, headlined the talk show with their thoughts and insights on the topic as current student leaders.
The two young leaders were joined by Hon. Bienvenido De Guzman II, Tuguegarao City Vice Mayor, and Hon. Tirso Mangada, City Councilor, as USL alumni and current administration leaders, as well as Engr. Ariel Lorenzo, USL-ECE Program Chair, as a former student leader and USL alumni.

In line with the theme, Corella shared that adjusting her schedule arrangement and time management were some of the adjustments she made, noting that multitasking her school work and household chores is not already possible in the face-toface setting.
She also shared words of encouragement to those who find it hard to communicate and socialize with others after being used to being alone in the online mode of learning. “You try to expand your horizons,” Pia emphasized. She urged the viewers to make the most of the inperson setup of the educational setting by reconnecting with friends and colleagues. “When I became a student leader, I became more vocal about my thoughts and became friendlier. I really want other students to know the importance of establishing great friendships,” she added.
Azil also motivated her fellow students to know the art of trying. “You’ll never know unless you try. I’m a manifestation, wherein I never really imagine myself being the chairman of the MCNP-ISAP Council of Leaders. Pero andito ako ngayon (But I am here today), representing our institution,” she remarked.
Konsi Hour, a government-initiated show by the Office of the City Vice Mayor, aims to provide a non-political, safe, and positive stage not only for the city councilors but also for representatives of various sectors to voice their opinions, share their inspiring stories, and inform the public of what needs to be disseminated. Pursuing grass-roots participation, Konsi Hour visited USL as the first stop of its academic edition. Hosted by Mr. Sander Sedano, USLLMS Coordinator, the TV show was simultaneously aired live via RBC cable and social media pages. USLWB
