Louisian SHS hosts leadership seminar

USL’s Senior High School organized a leadership seminar and team building on the theme “GEMPowered: Fostering the Paradigm of Service through Synergy and Resiliency” held on October 18, 19, and 24, 2022, at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo.

On the first day, the Supreme Student Government organized a team-building activity dubbed “Likha at Liyab” at the James Ter Meer Gymnasium.

On the second day, they conducted their Action Planning: SPADES 2022 (Setting Programs Anchored on Delivering Efficient Services) at the Bulwagang Teodulfo healthy lifestyle and inspiring them to join the biking community.

Following Ms. Ma. Carina Victoria M. Catuaan, Assistant Principal’s speech, the student leaders were divided into groups to design their action plans.

On the event’s last day, the student leaders presented their respective action plans to Mrs. Claire T. Gumarang, SHS Principal; Ms. Catuaan; Mr. Kitkat Reyes and Mr. Edmar Matagay, SSG co-advisers; and SSG Officers.

This is to develop students’ leadership abilities as they create a path where they can lay their blazing cards of service.

The Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA) and other select teachers and students then delighted the audience with vibrant and spectacular performances following the lighting ceremony.

For the duration of the holiday season, students, employees, and visitors were warmly greeted by the festive sight of the 20-foot Christmas tree and dazzling lights decked across the campus, which welcomed them upon their arrival for class or work and cheered them up when they returned home USLWB
