With these accomplishments, the SEAITE department held a motorcade and a testimonial lunch on May 20, 2022, at USL Gymnasium. The event was kicked off with a thanksgiving mass followed by a motorcade within the city.

A testimonial lunch was organized to pay tribute to the triumph achieved by the passers.

Those in attendance were the two national topnotchers, passers of the November 2021 and May 2022 Civil Engineer Licensure Exams, passers of the April 2022 Registered Electrical Engineer

Licensure Examination and the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination, passers of January 2022 Architect Licensure Examination, parents and visitors.

Moreover, Labrador and Verbo testified and shared their stories before becoming national topnotchers. Labrador complimented the quality education that USL has been providing to every Louisian. He further mentioned that being a dancer helped him become a topnotcher; the discipline he learned from dancing helped him during his review for the licensure exam.

“Since the review was online, I reviewed with discipline,” he added.

Further, during the 51st commencement exercises in June 2022, Labrador and Verbo received plaques of recognition and cash incentives for giving pride and honor to the University.

Labrador received P100,000.00, while Verbo received P50,000.00. Mrs. Marina T. Verbo, mother of Verbo, received the plaque and incentive on his behalf.
