Types of Events

Per FSL Guidelines: "If an activity conducted off campus is of a large magnitude (anticipated attendance more than double the chapter size or 200 persons, whichever is larger), and/or alcohol will be present, a Social Event Planning form is required in addition to the EVR. Social events also require the chapter to provide transportation to and from the event."

In addition to the above definition, the following events are classified as membership or social events by default:

- Formal event

- Semi-formal event

- Date party/dash

- Exchange

- Brotherhood/sisterhood event

- Alumni event
