The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at USC provides high-quality, confidential and personalized mental health care to veterans and military families at no cost. Services are available to any person who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including National Guard and Reserves, regardless of role or discharge status.
SERVICES Our services include evidence-based practices with a holistic approach to improving the quality of life for our veterans and their families. Services are provided by licensed mental health clinicians utilizing our downtown clinic or tele-mental health services with a focus on individual needs and preferences. • T herapy for individuals, groups, couples, children and families • S pecialized Care, including substance use services • Care Coordination • Peer Support Services • Tele-Mental Health Care
HIGHLIGHTS FOCUS ON PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY Our team will never share confidential information with the VA, DOD, or any other public, private or government entities unless required by law.
COMMUNITY-BASED For those unable to travel to downtown Los Angeles, we will engage community partners across Los Angeles County to meet veterans and military family members where they are located.
MORE THAN MENTAL HEALTH We will ensure veterans and their families receive help accessing services and benefits they’ve earned, including unemployment, housing, finance, education and VA benefits.
PEER SERVICES A guiding principle of the community program team approach is veteran and family member engagement through shared lived experiences.
