“I feel so enriched to have received my undergraduate degree in Spanish with a minor in English from USCB. My experiences at USCB, both inside and outside of the classroom, have prepared me for a smooth entrance into graduate school and the workforce upon graduation.” – Chel Rae Hopkins ‘10 Savannah, GA

Academics. As the most affordable four-year institution in the University of South Carolina system, USCB students pay state university tuition but often feel as if they are studying at a small, liberal arts college. With a student-teacher ratio of 17:1, USCB students benefit from small classes and optimal faculty interaction in a challenging academic environment. • Your professors will challenge you, but they also devote personal time to discuss your progress and to offer advice and support. USCB provides a remarkable blend of exceptional faculty, supportive staff, outstanding facilities and diverse student body, which creates a lively community where students live and learn.
