USCB reaffirmed by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools The University of South Carolina Beaufort is pleased to announce that the The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) has granted USCB reaffirmation of accreditation for the next ten years. USCB Chancellor, Dr. Jane T. Upshaw was informed this summer that the university successfully made its case for compliance with the Principles of Accreditation. Every department within USCB played an important role in the success of this critical process. The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools is the regional body for the accreditation of degree-granting higher education institutions in the Southern states.
