WHAT IS GENDER?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU? Join us for a panel discussion exploring and defining what ‘gender’ means from a diversity of perspectives. Several speakers –including current and former students, and members of the larger Lowcountry community –will reflect on issues of selfidentification along with the multitude of other ways their lives are informed by their concepts of gender. The panel will be followed by an audience-driven conversation further examining the influence of gender in defining and guiding our day-to-day experiences.
