FoxArneson has completed 16 stores for Woodman’s throughout the years- and have two more currently in the works. One such location is the Buffalo Grove, Illinois store, which is a 242,000 square foot grocery store, gas station/convenience store, car wash, and lube center. This massive undertaking is slotted to be complete by June 2018, but it has come with its fair share of challenges. FoxArneson came into the job from the very beginning, doing their due diligence about what would be required as soon as a property was identified. With this particular location there needed to be improvements to both a state and county highway, as well as reworking intersections in the area that would lead to the store.

The construction began in August 2008 and was completed in 2012. It involved modernizing the classrooms, restrooms and front entrance remodeling. It also included the addition of three new classrooms, a meeting room, new toilet facilities and a basement for both storage and operations for the facility’s engineer. FoxArneson is very aware of how their success is due to the team that they have, and they count themselves as lucky that the retention rate for their employees is so stellar. A majority of their workers have been with them for ten years or more, attesting to how well they treat their staff. Considering the length of time their employees have been with them, the amount of retraining is minimum. Still, FoxArneson does offer continuing education courses in order to make sure that their workers have as much knowledge and as many resources as possible.
