Olson has been thrilled to be a part of constructing the Irvine Spectrum Marriott, One of Marriott’s first “millennial-style” hotels which will boast extraordinary amenities and indoor/outdoor experiences throughout. While this particular project happens to be in their backyard, R.D. It is a 225 room hotel, existing in an adapted and reused twelve story building that was built in the early 1900’s. Once it is complete they will have remodeled over 7,000 guest suites for the world’s 2nd largest hotel property. To put this project in perspective, the tower included 2,872 rooms to renovate, plus corridors. This used 204,643 square yards of carpet, which equates to 1.84 million square feet of floor area!
