The Pazyryk Carpet, 200 x 183cm (6'6” x 6'6”) has 360,000 TK/m2 (232 TK/in.2); this, the oldest known surviving knotted-pile carpet, was found in a burial mound in the Altai mountains of southern Siberia;it is now in the Hermitage Museum,St.Peter's Burg,Russia.
