SIROM USA CHAMP Directed by Lei Krizelle Mayo Nagdako si Raffy nga gina diktahan sang iya iloy ang tanan niya nga hulag. Nag antos naman ya si Mark kaupod ang iya amay nga wala na sang iban nga ginhimo kundi ang pabudlayan siya kag basulon kung ngaa nangin miserable ang ila pangabuhi. Sapag-krus sang ila mga banas, Makita ayhan nila ang matuod-tuod nga kalipay sa isa kag isa kag maangkun ang paghigugma nga wala nila nabtyagan sa ila mga ginikanan? Ukon ini ang mas mangin rason sang pagkaguba sang ila mga kabuhi?

DREI USA CLASE Directed by Ana Saul Drei, a college student, who suffers from selective mutism tries his best to fit in. since it’s not working for him because of his condition, he got in the school publication as a writer. Though he hid himself m with a pseudonym, his works gained praises including the girl that will make his silent heart happy. He then caught himself in a situation where he needs to choose to give up his stand or to continue to voice out.

Each person has an identity. You can be the queen bee, the cool jock, the smart kid, you can be anything you want. But is it possible for someone to not know her purpose? Meet Ella. A 4th year High School girl who tries to be someone in everyone's life. But as she keeps on trying to be someone for everyone else, can she find her purpose for herself?

INBETWEENERS CSA– B Junior High School Teatro Club Directed by Fundador Tipon

Neil awakens on a static millisecond in the Spacebrook multiverse of the silly timekeeper Pollux. Being under Pollux’s time-play, Neil encounters dream weaver Reve, memory guardian Munin, and spacefarer Othni, who all frolic on him about his past, present, and future for him to decide on his fate. For time is the space between dream and memory, ticktock!

TINY BUBBLES CSA-B Kanlaon Theater Guild Directed by Ricardo Salanap Jr. Three guilles kids– Ami, Jeff, and Bubbles, meet at their friends birthday party. It’s usually fun because it’s their play time. They do their regular game — bring something, show and rate it based on their shrewdness. The sequence is from youngest to oldest but on this day Bubbles wants to reverse the order. So to not waste their play time , Ami goes first, followed by Jeff then Bubbles. As their play get deeper, their innocence slowly fades.

#SHOOKT USA Little Theater

Directed by Eric Divinagracia

Shookt. A variant of shookt or shock also referred to as Shooketh. Generation X,Y and Z use this popular hash tag when they feel many emotions at once. When they are stressed, distressed or #triggered by something overwhelming. #Shookt is a series of performances that deal with things that trigger us and how to cope up.

Set is a post-apocalyptic era, where futuristic beings and aliens have come once more, soon-to-bebride Pumpkin is in panic after realizing that sooner or later the wedding will get cancelled! Guests are running wild, the cardinal and Bishop have their appointments from the other planets, and everyone doesn’t have enough time for this! To stop the wedding from getting cancelled, they need to find cupcake! With the help of Pumpkin and cupcakes Parent’s, they come forth a conquest for a race against time. Will they find the groom before it’s too late? The clock begins to tick.

A destitute janitor, four struggling students, and a heart broken couple looking for resolve. Three seemingly different stories are intertwined in a story about something relative to us all: time. “What if” Is a play that explores the concept of time and the decisions we make that play a major part in our lives. With so many possibilities for what will be and what could have been, we often ask ourselves : “What If?”

“Dangga”- an old Hiligaynon term which means “to seek love or to seek affection”. Dangga, “is composed of three short plays tagutaguan, hawla and d’press which demonstrates the different forms of love and acceptance with family, peers and the self. The characters of each story continuously seek their self-worth in the hopes of gaining personal fulfillment satisfaction which they thought, life can never give.

Martha is a loving wife who starts to question her loyalty to her husband, Caloy, when he became the target of allegations about corruption and murder while serving As the mayor of San Roque.

One benevolent official has been dedicated in aiding a local cancer support group . However a series of confrontations and revelations later led to the discovery of something more “cancerous�. Knowing that cancer is difficult to detect and rot peoples health, It is only a matter of time before deciding to be a cancer victim or a cancer survivor.

Kikay is home from new york, but she isn’t Kikay anymore. She assumes a new identity and demands that everyone address her as ‘Francesca’ to the amusement of her friends and the exasperation of her mother. Apparently, Kikay has forgotten everything that reminds her of Tondo– including her childhood sweetheart, Tony. Considering himself free, Tony got engaged to Kikay’s best friend, Nena. The comedy of errors climaxes to a feminine scuffle resolving too many broken heart and a broken head.

In 2013, taking a “selfie” became so common that the word “ selfie” officially became a part of the Oxford English dictionary. So here’s a tale about selfies: various characters from different walks of life– social media influencer, a fat girl, sick guy, a house help ,and a homosexual—taking some selfies and posting them on social media. But, do we know the stories behind those selfies?

Newly orphaned KIA lives with a group of nuns, headed by SISTER YNA. While at the orphanage, KIA realizes that she wants to become a lawyer. She eventually becomes MR. CHI’s counselor as a form of indebtedness. KIA then finds out that MR. CHI, a wealthy businessman, is involved in an illegal business which causes her to question all the good that he has done for them at the orphanage.

About Iloilo Theater Festival

The Iloilo Theater Festival was first established last 2014 with theme “Ilo in Love”. It featured plays from theater groups within the city— West Visayas State University Little Theater, western Institute of technology— Teatro Primiero, University of San Agustin Little Theater and St. Paul University Iloilo. The following year, 2015, the festival extended its reach to theater in the regions in cooperation with Teatrokon: Western Visayas Theater Network, creating the Duag Teatrokon: Panay— Negros Theater Festival, gathering various theater group across the region including University of St. La Salle Bacolod Maskara Theater Ensemble, Colegio de San Agustin Bacolod Kanlaon Theater Guild, St. Anthony’s College Antique’s Teatro San Antonio, and STI West Negros University Kalingaw Teatro Hiligaynon. In the year 2016, the Iloilo Theater Festival featured more than 20 fulllength and short plays that embodied love and passion with a theme #theaterislove from various theater companies in the city. Now on its 4th year, the Iloilo Theater Festival will showcase the beauty of theater and how it brings light to everyone . This year the ILOTF will feature 23performances coming from 17 different theater troupes with the theme #findyourlight– theater as spark, as flame, as light. It will also cross to Bacolod city for the kuris festival and Tampok theater congress in celebration of the national arts month. #ILOTF #Findyourlight
