Come, Share My Being, Share My Joy!

ll of us have received various invitations over the years. They call us to share some unique occasion, such as an anniversary, upcoming wedding, great achievements or grand openings. We can accept or pass them by for many reasons. But our loving God has been extending this one, special invitation from all eternity. Many saints responded to share the immense love and inner life offered. We have only to read the lives of the saints and remember those we consider holy who have lived in our own time. Saint Angela’s life is a perfect example of how open she was to this awesome grace from her great Lover and ours as well. She aimed to take full advantage of this sharing. We may consider ourselves to be unworthy of such gifting, bogged down by countless material problems and distractions. Sometimes it seems we have no extra time to deepen our spiritual lives. These things are challenges to detour our faith journey. All the while the Lord is calling and waiting for us to accept. Step aside now to your own sacred spot and meditate on what He could be saying and offering in the following lines that came to me as I wrote this reflection. What is He saying to you and how can you be totally responsive? May you be richly blessed! Continued on back page

I, your Lord, and your only LOVE pass your way, very close at hand. My call precedes Me. Listen for its quiet, inviting tone. You, My beloved, I want you. Come, share My Being, share My joy. Stop, look and hasten to open yourselves to My unitive way. I wish to effect glory in you. I affirm your commitments of surrender as My cherished ones. In return I promise fulfillment, a total, Divine infusion.

Stop, look, listen closely. My words
How do our bodies carry us through every day with quiet efficiency and tireless grace?
may be gentle or resonant. Always I urge, imitate Me. I shape you in My image to draw others to My great Love. I call insistently that we be united, now and always. Come, share My Being, share My joy.
God the great artist, God the great biologist, God the great creator, God the great mother. Pause today to see the magic of God’s creation.
