POST-GRADUATION STATUS Information obtained about graduates from the previous graduating class is compiled and presented each year in the Ursinus College Post-Graduate Destination Report. This report provides detailed information on employment patterns and graduate/professional school placements for the Class of 2016. Sources of information for this report include graduate self-reports (i.e., written survey, online survey, phone survey, and email), social media and faculty reports of student status.

The National Association of Colleges and Employers has established national standards and protocols to guide higher education institutions in collecting and disseminating data on career outcomes of graduates.

The standards provide a common deadline and consistent metric to be used in reporting and comparing summary outcomes from higher education institutions across the country. Data is collected six months after graduation.

Information for the Class of 2016 report is based on data collected by December 31, 2016 with a knowledge rate of 86.3%1. The Ursinus career outcomes rate is 92.4%.2 The information below depicts the post-graduation status of 316 members of the Class of 2016. For a breakdown according to major, please see Appendix A.

GRADUATE/PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL & ADDITIONAL EDUCATION Fields of Study Graduates are Pursuing 73 graduates (23.1%) indicated that they are pursuing additional education on a full-time or part-time basis.

Of these graduates 5% reported that they were awarded graduate assistantships and 14% reported that they were awarded scholarships or fellowships.
