Dyslexia is a learning disorder that affects your ability to read, spell, write, and speak. Kids who have it are often smart and hardworking, but they have trouble connecting the letters they see to the sounds those letters make. It can have a profound impact on a student's ability to read and write. Without these invaluable language skills, students with dyslexia can experience avoidable and lifelong educational, social, and economic problems. Dyslexia is a disorder present at birth and cannot be prevented or cured, but it can be managed with special instruction and support, is treated using specific educational approaches and techniques, and the sooner the intervention begins, the better. DYSTACTIC, located in commercial areas near educational institutions, is a place where people of all ages, both dyslexic and non-dyslexic can gain knowledge about dyslexia, and improve their reading, writing, memory, and visual recognition skills while still having fun! Every 1 in 5 people have dyslexia and 99% of them are not even aware of it and there is no way of showing people who don't have dyslexia what they are going through. Dystactic will spread awareness whilst it helping people too. INTRODUCTION: Dyslexia is one of the most common learning difficulty, unlike a learning disability, intelligence isn't affected, however very few people are aware of it PROBLEM: Causing them to feel confused, left out and dumb while other people criticize them as there is no awareness of it in order for them to get help. SOLUTION: Students mostly look for places to hang out, eat or relax after their classes or during their breaks and a place fulfilling those needs will attract them. PROPOSAL: DYSTACTIC is a a game zone to help treat people with dyslexia and spread awareness in a fun way. COLLABORATION: DYSTACTIC would collab with Persatuan Dyslexia Malaysia, their objective is to advance the education and general welfare of the children and others who are affected by dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities. ACTIVITIES: 2 entrances, one for people with dyslexia and one for non-dyslectic people, games, café, interactive brain stimulating games.

SIMILAR TO THE GAME OF TWISTER PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED TO TOUCH THE WORD ON THE CIRCLE THAT THE ARROW LANDED ON WHEN THEY SPUN THE WHEEL

This activity makes the person find a word similar to it which helps the brain get used to telling letters apart by stimulating it

ALMOST IDENTICAL TO SIMON IN WHICH PEOPLE HAVE TO MEMORIZE THE SEQUENCE THE DISK LIGHTS UP IN, IN THIS ACTIVITY PEOPLE CAN HAVE FUN BY STEPPING ON TILES THAT LIGHT UP IN THE SAME WAY WHICH HELPS WITH IMPROVING MEMORY

A research from national library of medicine indicate that working memory is a pivotal factor in reading development among children with developmental dyslexia, and interventions to improve working memory may help dyslexic children to become more proficient in reading.

ROTATING BOXES WITH PICTURES ON ONE SIDE FOR PEOPLE TO GUESS THE SPELLING AND THE CORRECT SPELLLING ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE

This activity requires people to think about the words by looking at images as they struggle to process visual information whilst improving their spelling.

ARCADE GAMES. "Action video games enhance many aspects of visual attention, mainly improving the extraction of information from the environment," said study co-author Andrea Facoetti of the University of Padua in Italy in a press release. "Dyslexic children learned to orient and focus their attention more efficiently to extract the relevant information of a written word more rapidly."
